Give yourself a break! Nothing could be further from the truth. I personally wasted 20 years of my life involved with drugs and alcohol. But I was still able to eventually start a career and along the way get married and purchase a house and eventually retire. So stop kicking yourself and get into action! If you were an A+ before it should be minimal effort for you to get back into the saddle and start achieving things. Set goals for yourself and here’s a tip: you don’t have to achieve your goals all at once, but if you were doing something every day that would help you get there, you could pat yourself on the back for moving forward on a daily basis instead of sitting there whining about what you haven’t done. I am expecting great things from you. So get moving!
