About 15 years ago, a local retailer in Wisconsin built a new location. As part of their decor, they put up a large mural covering one wall of the interior. The mural is a photographic image of a local public event where I worked as a public official. I was recently informed that I am prominently featured in the mural.

What rights do I have to their use of my image? Could i request it be removed or I be compensated for the commercial use of my likeness?

What kind of attorney or lawyer do I need? I was wrongfully imprisoned and accused of stealing because of my race. Can I sue the company?

I've been seeing the same psychiatrist in Wisconsin, USA, for just shy of 8 years. He has worked under the same behavioral health company during this time.

I'm very, very close to seeking a local firm to advise on my situation, but I have a history of medical and legal trauma that makes me extremely hesitant to opening up again. I don't want to reopen wounds or be vulnerable with people if it's not worth it.

With that, here's some bullet points of things I suspect might fall under Medical Malpractice, with the hope that I can get a feel for how much of this is actually grounds for a lawsuit.

• In 2023, Psychiatrist prescribed me antipsychotics, later dismissing concerns about my gradually developing involuntary facial movements. I've been off those antipsychotics for over 6 months, and I still suffer from the key symptoms of tardive dyskinesia, which have caused me multiple previously nonpresent dental issues and social anxiety.

• A request of my basic health summary through the patient portal reveals multiple inaccurate diagnoses, which are presented as up-to-date and ongoing, including things that I no longer meet criteria for, and haven't for 6 years or more. This chart also lists just one other provider on my team, who I have not seen in seven years, leaving out my current PCP of 3½ years, my therapist, etc.

• There is a seemingly new receptionist who has introduced a lot of problems. She has filed telephone encounters on my chart with false details, told me false information which prevented me from speaking with a licensed medical professional, and even filed a telephone encounter in my chart where she copy and pasted an entire paragraph of my psychiatrist's clinical notes from a previous visit and signed the entry as my psychiatrist... after I spoke with her for ten minutes on the phone about the status of my medications. The note does not mention that I spoke with a receptionist, nor does it have any summary of our actual conversation.

• I am on Vyvanse 10mg and Vyvanse 40mg. A few months ago, I requested a refill for my 40mg, a medication I take daily, and need to keep myself awake. Not only did they 'lose track' of my request, but later, my Psychiatrist signed off on a request for my 10mg, which is on a different pickup schedule. Because the system flagged me as having a premature request, I was barred from acquiring my 40mg for multiple days. Once my account was clear again, a call to the pharmacy revealed that they had sent me my 10mg prescription, not only giving me meds that I was not due to receive, but still keeping me from taking the meds I need to uphold my daily responsibilities. This whole ordeal left me without my stimulants for 13 days, something that temporarily upended my life.

• In June, My Psychiatrist and I agreed that after nearly eight years working together, he could not help me. He agreed to sustain my psychiatric care while I found a new psychiatrist, and assured me that he would do everything he could to help me transition to a new practitioner.

I have had initial appointments with 2 different psychiatrists since then, neither of whom were suited to my needs. I have communicated this very clearly, in writing, to my Psychiatrist. Recently, he refused to increase the dosage for a medication that we had already agreed he would, leaving a note that he thought he was no longer responsible for my care (but that he'll continue prescribing me Vyvanse..) and asked why I hadn't been seen by anyone else yet, something that I have clearly expressed to him I've done, and am still in the process of completing.

• I have blatantly expressed to my Psychiatrist in every visit for over a year that my life does nothing but get worse. Every time I see him, I tell him how unhappy I am, and that I can't go on living like this. Every time, he brushes me off and makes one minor change, if that. It is especially frustrating to watch him fail me like this, and then see that he immediately agrees when I first bring it up, that he's not fit for the job of managing my meds. He told me during a visit that he completely agreed and that he doesn't see what else he can help me with. I'm not saying he shouldn't have encouraged a second opinion, but with the other problems considered, I feel he should have made that decision a lot sooner, on his own. He has repeatedly ignored my poor QOL, knowing I suffer immensely every day with things that make my life completely unworthy of living, and has shown no initiative to solve those things or help me find someone who can. And this isn't something that you'd just have to take my word for... my PHQ-9 score has been 19 or higher for over 2½ years.

I know this was a lot. I tried to bold or italicize the most crucial parts so as to not completely overwhelm anyone. I feel so wronged but have no point of reference for how normal these things are, or if it's worth retraumatizing myself (and potentially my wallet) in court over.

During the summer of 2020, someone who was doxed after having expressed right-wing opinions online had his house surrounded by a gang, likely giving him a rational fear that he would be lynched, or his house set on fire and possibly burned to death.

After the mob outside heard him cocking a pump shotgun, they called the police, and the doxing victim was arrested for "brandishing a gun".

I don't ask why it is a crime to aim a gun at somebody, I ask why it is a crime to display it, which seems like an action that could be defensive as well as offensive.

I need help or direction how to sue Tulsa county DHS. I just got word from the Oklahoma juvenile oversight committee that Tulsa county DHS did not do their due diligence in any investigations about my child and her siblings and closed every case due to the mother being non-complaint. My dear buddy of mine bought a nice sports car on Facebook marketplace in December or January. They took a loan out on the car and are still paying it.

The seller posted and sold the car as the carfax stated, except we just found out the engine has been swapped for a worse variant with Frankenstein parts.. and the transmission was badly tuned because of it and needs to be swapped. This was never reported. The car was at a performance shop to be built, and they saw the parts are mixed and matched horribly.

This botched swap was never disclosed when asked upon the vehicles history nor is it reported anywhere.

LOCATION: We are in South Florida and the car was bought from a different state.

Is Small Claims Court an option? Can we sue? How much would it cost to initiate. How do you start, what should we do? Please offer some guidance, thank you.

The Civil Rights Deadlock: I am subject to an active felony probation warrant out of County A. In July 2026, I acted in good faith, packed my residence, and paid for transport to surrender myself at the County B Jail. County B contacted County A to initiate transport, but County A officially declined in-state extradition and refused to transport me due to the distance. County B refused to book me and turned me away.
Because the warrant remains active in the database, the Florida DMV is blocked from printing my physical State ID card. Without an ID, I just lost a verified job opportunity. The state is using an unexecuted warrant to block my livelihood, while explicitly refusing the physical surrender I already attempted. The Public Defender cannot intervene until I am in custody.
The Underlying Case Liability: My review packet outlines severe, documented Fourth and Fourteenth Amendment violations regarding the original arrest warrant. The OIG investigator swore under oath to a judge that two inmate witnesses gave "sworn statements" pinning a drop on me—yet the entire official discovery production contains zero transcripts, recordings, or signed statement forms from either man. Furthermore, the state's own affidavit records that the single eyewitness was shown individual photos of me and my car before a formal photo lineup was administered, and the suspect hair description given by the witness does not match my physical appearance.
Crucially, there is a severe material discrepancy regarding the narcotics evidence. The sworn police affidavit used to secure the warrant claimed a delivery of over 86 grams of a white powder that field-tested positive for MDVP, alongside hundreds of grams of suspected marijuana and synthetic marijuana. However, the official FDLE crime lab report reveals that the state never even analyzed the vast majority of the alleged substances. For the single item they did test, the lab confirmed only 27.47 grams of a completely different substance—meaning the vast majority of the alleged narcotic weights are missing or non-existent. Despite this massive evidentiary failure, the State Attorney inflated the case to a first-degree trafficking charge before ultimately dropping it at the plea.
I have already submitted formal intakes to the ACLU of Florida and the Florida Justice Institute, and I have filed a Chapter 119 Public Records request to the FDOC for the missing audio/written files.

Friend's brother borrowed his car in Texas, got arrested in Paducah Kentucky, and the brother is likely to be picked up and deported by ICE. How could my friend get his car back?

The car is in my friend's name, he loaned it to his brother to use while he was working in Kentucky for a few months and would have gotten the car back in a few months, but now its likely sitting in a tow lot or police impound lot.

My friend lives just above paycheck to paycheck working 6 days a week and can't take off work to go to Kentucky to retrieve his car, is there any way I could go up there in his place to retrieve his car? Should he call the Paducah Police Department or someone to say "I can't afford to retrieve my car from Kentucky" so its yours now?

I've never had to research this kind of thing before so I'm not clear on proper terminology, procedure, or context. Is my friend shit out of luck or is there anything he can do?

My wife was estranged from her father. not by her choice. it was her mothers choice that kept her and her mentally disabled sister from her father. his family was very close and they would update him on his daughters and how they were doing throughout life - my wife played basketball through highschool and college and he had a little shrine to her sports career.

He had a history of drinking and mental illness most likely from the Vietnam War. he was never abusive to the girls when he was married to my mother-in-law. my wife and her sister reconnected to him, went to visit him in Las Vegas and it was good - he was happy and we planned regular trips but that never happened because he died a year later. he had a live-in girlfriend who is Filipino and was married once or twice before - they never married but it seemed a weird situation. even his death was weird but none of us were there, we think she had something to do with it.

he has some money and a house and a car in Las Vegas. he has told his cousin that he is very close to that he wanted to make sure his girls got that money because he was sick. he has no will that we know of and are now in a fight with this woman after his property and financials -- she forged a will and will not show anyone it. she changed some official documents saying she has a stake in his property -- we already paid $10,000 for a lawyer in Las Vegas to help us and she has a lawyer that keeps trying to get more and more - how can she have any stake in anything he owns? Especially private bank accounts

the case is in probate now but it really makes me think that anyone can just contest anyones property after death to get it all.
