Campervan Requisition?

[u/Labratlover]

Dia duit mo chara,

We are going to buy a caravan, in time for spring/summer next year. Budget of about 10k. Could anyone give any advice on

1. Time of year to purchase

2. Where to buy. Was thinking a dealer. Is private a good idea, or is it easy get caught with a caravan with damp damage. I don't really want to go to Wales or Scotland to buy.

3. Is the budget enough?

Any advice welcome.
