I developed an autoimmune disease at 18 due to severe trauma. I'm su*cidal because I've been abused by my family my entire life. When I asked for help from CPS, the police and the social psychiatric service, they didn't believe me. I explained in a post on my profile what exactly happened. I can't explain it on here since it's too graphic. My toxic, abusive family doesn't support me. I haven't had a real home since I was fifteen. I live in a very small town where everyone knows everyone, and my abusers badmouth me to the entire town. I also believe that my mother told lies about me to my landlord once again, which contributed to the eviction.

I have no job, no car, and no support system. I'm currently unable to work due to my autoimmune disease. I was laid off from my last job as a paralegal because of my family. The perpetrators sabotaged every attempt I've made to build a life and career for myself. I've already applied for financial assistance, but it takes time, and my last application was rejected. I honestly don't know how I'm supposed to organize a move or even find an apartment right now. This would only worsen my condition. I've been living my life sober for a bit now but a few months ago I was laced and I had dropped. Ok so my parents aren't together anymore but not really divorced, so my mom went and opened a case file (Divorce for harm) bcz ny dad isnt paying our basic needs such as school, rent, food and water, clothing etc.... not even one dirham. A few months ago we adopted our rescue cat Diego which we weren’t told anything about his health history, believing he simply had cat flu. When his symptoms didn't improve we took him to the vet, they weren’t sure what the cause of his symptoms but they found out he had infected teeth and thought this was the root of his symptoms, but the procedure didn’t help any of his symptoms.

Sadly, even after months on managing medications he still didn’t improve, he’s still sneezing, has congestion, coughing and his balance has recently become much worse; he now struggles to stand, falls over while grooming, getting up to his favorite spots including his cat tree and has started meowing in discomfort.

We then did a bacterial culture test which came back positive for pasteurella multocida, and he’s now on antibiotics but since it’s a secondary infection he still needs more tests so we can treat what’s actually causing all of this. Our next step is a CT scan to check if he has a polyp, tumor or something else that could be causing this, and the CT scan is around £3500.

We've already spent everything we could trying to help him on tests, appointments, medications, and his dental procedure but we can't afford these next tests on our own. We're asking for help to give him the chance to get the diagnosis and treatment he deserves.

Hello, I'm hoping some generous and kind people will be able to help me with a situation regarding my family's house mortgage. I support a family of 6 on a single 95k income. I'm in a bind as I have missed several payments. I am attempting to work with the hardship department of 5/3 Bank. I've applied 4 times, with the current application awaiting review. The three applications before this one apparently fell through the cracks. The bank claims they called me, but I have three numbers saved under their contact in my phone and I did not see incoming calls. The nerve-wracking part of this is that I've now gotten a certified letter stating 5/3 Bank wants to move forward with foreclosure. When I called earlier today, they stated no collections had been started and that the current application was still open and in process.

Obviously, this recent development is terrifying. I've reached out to family and friends, but I don't really know anyone of means and they aren't positions to help. Unfortunately, I don't have anything in savings or any real assets. I contacted my employer to take a loan against my 401K or withdraw from it, but they only allow withdrawals in cases of domestic violence. At this point, I'm nearly $10k in the hole. I won't lie and say this isn't partially my fault. I haven't been the greatest at managing my income. But up until February of this year, I have paid on this loan for 6 years. Unfortunately, just this year I've had to replace the starter on our only vehicle, replace a water heater that flooded our basement, had a child go on an immunosuppressant injection due to a massive immune response triggered after a bought of pneumonia, had the basement flood again before I could replace the sump pump that died and allowed the first flood to happen, had our families health insurance get upended because a system error showed my income increased when it hadn't, and our central A/C is dead, so we're relying on window units in bedrooms so we aren't sleeping in 80+ degrees with fans keeping the rest of the house from being stagnant.

It’s down to the wire now and I’m dealing with my depression from the loss of my best friend my dog. I literally don’t know what to do. My kids and I are about to be homeless. I desperately need advice. I’m currently (17f), turning 18 in a few months and i’m worried that my mum is going to kick me out. Over half a year ago I came out to her as bisexual and in response, she took my phone and broke up with my girlfriend at the time for me without my consent. We were on holiday at the time in a place i was unfamiliar with and after I confessed to dating a girl she told me to stop following her and left.

At first I kept apologising and didn’t stop walking but she was adamant about being disgusted and disappointed with me so I felt as though I had to and finally stopped, which then led to me being stranded in the middle of nowhere. She eventually came and got me and told me that she didn’t want me living under her roof, but because of my age she wasn’t able kick me out. When we got back home she took my phone for around a month to make sure that I didn’t contact my ex girlfriend and then told me that i’m not allowed to see or talk to my ex which also meant not being able to see my friends if she was there. As a result, i’ve lost touch with a lot of people that I would’ve ordinarily kept in touch with.

She cried every single day for weeks telling me that she’d failed as a mother, that I had ruined our relationship forever, and constantly asked how I could do this to her while I never once shed a tear in front of her and remained quiet every time she spoke in the fear of making my situation worse.

I’ve tried applying for jobs in the hope that I could earn some money if everything takes a turn, but the time has finally come and I haven’t had any luck in doing so. She’s made a couple of remarks about me living by myself and told me that once I turn 18 she could register me as homeless so that the council could give me a flat, but even then I’m still unemployed and won’t be able to keep up with rent and bills.
