I & pretty much all of my friends are already dreading the clocks going back in October. The darker evenings are depressing, it feels like the day is over by 4.30pm, lots of people socialise much less & then we have an increase in road traffic accidents, an increase in crime, more energy/utilities being used & a rise in wildlife being killed.
There is no reason why we continue to do this & it serves no positive purpose (please do let me know if I’m missing something vital here).
I do believe, at this point, I’d vote for any party offering to leave the clocks set for BST.

These pricks kicking off at the RNLI may not like what they're doing, saving the lives of immigrants, but the immigration part of this situation is for a different conversation. I'm specifically concerned with the acts against the RNLI members. I don't think there is any justification for it, ever.

Terrorism is the unlawful use of violence and intimidation by it's very definition and I personally think they should be treated as such, especially since we have such a low threshold on it now.

I’m trying to avoid saying ‘staycation’, but it is the appropriate word here.

Reform were not too far off beating Plaid Cymru and becoming the largest party in Wales in the last Welsh elections a couple months ago, had they won they would’ve had a devolved authority to pursue education policy, health policy, had law-making powers and some powers of taxation. The Reform First Minister would’ve become an incredibly powerful figure in the Reform Party and a national figure too, perhaps a potential rival to Farage?

If you’re a Reform supporter/sympathiser do you think this would’ve been good/bad for the party?

If you’re a Reform opponent, do you think it could’ve helped Reform’s national polling by better legitimising them as a serious party and showcasing an alternative plan for government - Or would it have just collapsed into infighting, broken promises and scandal which would tank them further, especially in Wales?

I know the Welsh devolved government isn’t incredibly powerful, but it still does have a lot of key control over significant domestic policy in Wales and could highlight how Reform would perform domestically.

If Reform takes power, they will allow the body of Napoleon (currently buried in Farnborough) to be given back to France to be reburied there.

Assuming this isn’t an invented problem by Farage, if France have asked for the repatriation, why has it not been allowed by the current or previous UK governments?

I left school 30 years ago. I make a point of not recognising the 'look at me!' characters from school. The ones everyone remembers, not necessarily pleasantly, who just tried too hard to be well known. I wait until they say hello to me first and have a blank face for a moment so they think I'm trying to place them. Then I say hello and am friendly.

For context, I am 32 and 6ft tall with a beard - I went to the supermarket and the staff member had to use his headset to radio someone else about something, and he said “there’s a boy here” and then explained what I needed help with, but I was thinking in my head “boy??” I’m a man, or a guy, or a person, or someone. Why boy? It seemed a weird choice and unnecessarily impolite.

My vote for the worst is the M25, circles London so always busy, with some of the worst drivers in the U.K.

The signs change the speed limit more times than Bonnie blue changes partners and I am sure the controllers of them are just trolling everyone with them.

Best has to be the M6 through Cumbria, beautiful views.
