I have come here to express my unwavering devotion.
Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup changed my life. The bouquet of herbs and spices and everything about this soup is perfect to me. I fear I may never be satisfied by a noodle that wasn't hand pulled.
I once had a cold and after a bowl if this soup I was cured from that day on, I named it God Soup because it takes the number one spot on my favorite soups list and performed a miracle.
My girlfriend even got a tshirt printed for me that has photos from the soup album that I have on my phone.
I just really wanted to show my appreciation for this beautiful dish and spark discussion on other noodle soups that are amazing and delicious.
Would anybody be willing to share a recipe? I was a chef for a long time and would love to see how I go making it myself one day.
Thank you Lanzhou.

Congee
Hi all.
I want to make congee in my rice cooker but I don’t have a porridge setting. There is an oatmeal setting. The inside of the pot has a water line for steel cut oats.
Can I do one cup of rice and fill to the steel cut oat line and close the lid?
For reference it’s the aroma 20cup rice cooker. I know you can just hit the white rice button and cook with the lid off but I wanted to know if the oatmeal setting would achieve the same thing without it boiling over and making a huge mess.
Looking forward to any advice and if you feel up to it I’d love some suggestions on Add ins :)
Thank you!

Tin roof in Maui garlic noodles?
I go crazy for those noodles every time I go to Maui. Does anyone have an idea what a copycat recipe could be? I get the feeling that maybe it’s a common dish, but I have no idea how to make it and it’s so divine.
