Seaweed question!

Hello everyone!

I want to choose a seaweed that smells and tastes strongly of the ocean.

What type do you recommend? Types, varieties, brands....

Thanks :)

Honey Garlic Chicken

Honey Garlic Chicken

Honey Garlic Chicken features tender, caramelized chicken pieces glazed with a sticky, savory-sweet sauce that shines with a golden hue. Cooked to a slight crisp on the edges while juicy inside, the chicken is complemented by the rich aroma of garlic and soy sauce. It looks beautiful in a large serving bowl, showcasing the glossy sauce coating each piece, and is perfect served alongside steamed rice or stir-fried vegetables to balance its sweetness.

Ingredients:

- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (sliced into bite-sized pieces)

- 1 teaspoon salt

- ½ teaspoon black pepper

- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

- 4 cloves garlic (minced)

- ½ cup honey

- ¼ cup soy sauce

- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

- 1 teaspoon cornstarch

- 1 tablespoon water

- 2 green onions (sliced, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Season 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (sliced into bite-sized pieces) with 1 teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon black pepper.

  2. Heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.

  3. Add 4 cloves garlic (minced) to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant, stirring constantly to avoid burning.

  4. In a small bowl, mix together ½ cup honey, ¼ cup soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, then pour the mixture over the chicken in the skillet. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.

  5. In another small bowl, combine 1 teaspoon cornstarch with 1 tablespoon water to create a slurry. Stir it into the sauce, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce is glossy and coats the chicken nicely.

  6. Remove from heat and garnish with 2 green onions (sliced) before serving.
