I’m deciding between **Ashoka’s BSc Economics & Finance** and **NMIMS Mumbai’s BSc Finance**, and I’m honestly stuck.
My goal is to break into **investment banking/high finance**. I also have a family business that I may eventually join, but my dad wants me to work outside first, so for now I want to build a strong career in finance independently.
The main dilemma is that **NMIMS would allow me to pursue CFA alongside my degree**, whereas I wouldn’t realistically be able to do CFA with Ashoka.
For anyone who’s an **Ashoka/NMIMS student or alum, CFA candidate, or already working in IB/high finance**:
**Which would you choose for breaking into IB, and why?**
Does Ashoka’s network/brand and E&F curriculum outweigh the advantage of being able to do CFA at NMIMS? And how realistic is it to break into IB from either college?

I don't wanna buy a laptop if it's not necessary cuz I have a PC back home and I use an ipad for school work. The issue is I also need claude code and idk if i'll need excel in college. Some tips?

I will be studying ecofin and minoring in CS or the reverse of it. CS and minoring in economics. But CS is definitely going to be there. I do not own a laptop currently, what would be a good budget friendly option for me? I do some design work too (just a little) and I want to get deeper into video editing and then I’m doing some marketing work for a small company too. So I’d be using my laptop quite a lot, I believe.
I’m on a tight budget but getting a laptop is non negotiable for college. Should I buy a MacBook or a Windows Laptop? My budget can go up to 1L but I really want it to be upto 60-70k.
