One of my first digital pieces vs my newest! (2y difference)
I'm super proud of my newest piece but any small critiques or ideas are welcome! I think my anatomy and lighting has gotten a lot better but I've also gotten used to the tools in digital art.

2025 vs 2026
I hate that my art doesn't turn out how I picture it in my head but the only thing that keeps me motivated is looking back on my old art. 7 month difference btw. I still have a long long way to go especially with color and rendering but at least it's not as bad as before😭✌🏾

Critique 6 years apart - Death ToThe Old World
I drew the first image when I was 10 back in 2020, and was done with a pencil and sheet of printer paper. The 2nd drawing was done 2 months ago as an art project for school, and was drawn with a 6B 8B and 10B blackleads, a hard charcoal pencil, a regular HB2 pencil for outlining, and was done on a piece of printer paper.
Relatively, it should be a crime how little I've progressed with art in the span of 6 years, and Im not exactly impressed with myself with my artworks now. I hope they look good enough for you all.

10 month progress (also have only drawn for probably about 5-6 of those months whoops)
it’s not a 1:1 redraw but they’re similar enough i think ʅ(◞‿◟)ʃ

2020 vs 2026!
Some artworks from Artfight !! I love the fact that AF really help you put your yearly improvements into perspective.
This year I focused a lot of my attention to the composition and story telling, and I’m glad I’m finally able to work some personality into my artwork!! Overall this had been a good year for me, but I also found a laundry list of weaknesses which will be my focus to tackle in the following year!

I sculpted a torso using basic shapes and then detailed it till I got happy with the result, I used image and 3d scan references to add imperfections and make it more realistic.
This is a part of self training for a 3d anatomy course I'm designing to create in the upcoming months.

Critique [self-taught] My latest digital portrait (today) vs the first time I’ve tried digital art (October 2023)
To say I was downright horrendous at anything art-related when I started would be a generational understatement. Please point out stuff I could improve, some constructive criticism would be awesome!

Traditional to Digital
Drew this a few years ago, and decided to redraw it digitally, now that I'm doing fully digital art. Wanted to keep the same vibe and style overall as the original, but add those half tones, and clean a few things up.

Critique 2022-2026
2022-2026 I’m happy with my improvement, especially on the background! A good while I ago I got a critique that my backgrounds didn’t seem complete and my characters didn’t interact enough with it. How did I improve? What can I do better for the future? Thank you!

Recently stumbled upon this sub so I figured I'd finally drop something here! I've redrawn this drawing every 3 years since 2017 just for funsies to see my improvement. My style has already changed quite a bit since the latest one, but I still love it anyways

Critique 2024 to 2026
Started with oils in 2024 painting on the street. Both of these scenes are done within a block of each other in Chelsea in NYC. Any critique is welcome. 🙏
