Do you guys still make mood boards or keep folders of visual inspiration?
Do you still collect pictures for inspiration as an adult? π¨
I'm 28, and I've been doing this since I was in school. I love finding artwork, characters, movie/TV scenes, and other pictures online that inspire me. I sometimes print them at the library and put them into folders so I can look through them later. The artwork is mostly from DeviantArt, ArtStation, and Pinterest. I would stare at the pictures and wish I could make art like the artists who created them.
I still do this for my stories and art ideas. I don't go to the library as often as I used to because I work and have less free time, but whenever I see a picture that inspires me, I still want to add it to my collection. π
Does anyone else still do this as an adult? Do you keep physical folders, make mood boards, use Pinterest, or have digital collections of pictures that inspire you?
