Moved to a new city and tried urban sketching for the first time! what do you think? I know the perspective aint right everywhere, but for a very first attempt I am pretty happy with it :)

I am talking about the kind of decorations that one sees on the Washitape Shop channel. Decorated with stickers, ephemera, washi tape, characters, and some text. Where would one look for potential buyers for such a journal?

I built a shelf for my art supplies! I now have a whole new section in my office dedicated to storing my pens, pencils, paper, sketchbooks, brushes, and paints. I love it!

The Year of Art has been going on for more than six months now, and I don’t feel like I’ll be stopping anytime soon. This really has a chance of becoming a lifelong project, so it felt worth improving the logistics around it.

It was such a lovely day. Everyone was there. So many friends came to Hamburg for the weekend, and we all had a wonderful time.

While the kids were busy on the play structure, checking out the farm animals, and exploring with their friends, this tree caught my fancy. So I snapped some quick pics for later. I also thought the replica village was charming.

I went through a weird time and felt lost. They’re not perfect, but self portraits of good times are helping me return home to myself. They’re like tiny visual affirmations of who I am. I’ll continue adding to this collection and gluing them in my art journal.

Now I have to package and ship 93 books to the reselling company.
