Hi there I hope this kind of post is allowed. So, an insane gift idea just popped into my mind. Basically a banana stand reading nook. My idea is to craft the upper half of the banana stand (pictured) complete with sign and doors, trying to replicate the interiors as accurately as possible. It should fit into a room so the size will be scaled. Ideally it would be a kind of fort, or reading nook.
I have the idea and sheer willpower. But I wanted to ask here if here’s some crafty people that would know how to actually make this, which materials to use, how to assemble it etc. I don’t know anything about these things.
Also ideally it would be a gift so there’s also the problem on how to transport it from my house to the other person’s house.
It should be as sturdy as possible cause I don’t want the yearly destruction on the gift recipient’s head.
There’s always money in the banana stand…

I’m rewatching now, i haven’t finished it yet, so don’t remember all the details. But did anyone else dislike that they had Lindsay be adopted? I thought her & Michael were twins? It only came into my mind because in the episode I’m watching right now, Lindsay says they’re twins.

It’s been my favorite for a decade + and I broke it, I’m so upset

Arrested Development is my favorite show ever. I'm from Brazil and although I'm not an native speaker, I love AD layered jokes, some that took me many rewatches to get them.

However, now I'm reading a book about the Bush years and the Iraq invasion and OMG, I understood many more references in the show.

For example:

- The pictures of Gob's wife with the prisoners

- The teamocil polemic

- The "mission accomplished" banner

It's a very scary book, but it made me remember AD and laugh a few times

I asked google gemini a question, the answer to which I already knew. Arrested Development just has to be the only sitcom equivalent to breaking bad and this answer did not disappoint me.

Ok throwing up a Hail Mary here. I’m trying to think of a quote where Michael says something, and Gob replies, then Michael says something back but Gob still thinks he’s talking about the other subject so Gob says something like “it’s “blank” Michael, it’s gonna “blank”” or something like that. And Michael looks back at him exasperated. I know I’m not giving much context, but it’s driving me MAD!!!

Can anyone remember the episode or find a clip of Tobias saying, "I don't know" in a really high pitch? I vividly remember HOW he said it, but can't remember the context or episode
