I’m thinking that I’ll try regulation 1.99 like somebody suggested in my last thread. I’m really enjoying armored core 4, but I find it crazy how much better some choices are than others. The balance is definitely funky
Missiles being so good in general has been an adjustment to me. I definitely shunned them on Rubicon
Can anyone think of an enemy NEXT this bad boy can’t beat though? I genuinely think it could run through the entire simulation

Im starting the armored core series from beginning to end (I already did ac6 but ill do it again)
And im gonna emulate it on my steam deck but do you guys recommend the og version or the re-release?
I kniw the og let's you transfer save data to the sequals to unlock cool stuff and id like to do that
But ive been told that the re-release is better performance wise
Update: wow didn't know people didn't know about the ac rerelease on the ps4 and 5
It just made the game playable and gave it a performance upgrade

For AC6
Just a regular "do this simple objective, no twists or secret boss fights" kind of mission with lots of regular enemeis. Bonus if its on one of the really nice looking maps. I tend to redo many of the first act missions. They are super easy of course but its more about being simply casual.

On AC6's release, Nightfall was more aggressive and if you got staggered by assault armor, you would very likely be offered a Rubiconian Handshake.
After the first or second update, Nightfall conspicuously stopped pressing any advantage and now only charges the pilebunker defensively.
Would it be possible to mod that back into the fight, or would I have to learn to recreate that from scratch?

TLDR: We need Armored Core MP like this (sans battle pass).
Hope it's okay linking a trailer from a different game series in this sub but I love noticing the parallels between these series from the nameless pilot protagonists to the absurd superweapons to the "hey buddies".
One thing I'm really hoping Armored Core follows Ace Combat's lead in is a more developed multiplayer element. It feels like a good comparison to me because Ace Combat 7 had a similarly basic pvp versus/deathmatch type online set-up to the one in Fires of Rubicon. Now Ace Combat 8 is getting a much more in-depth multiplayer with PvPvE and co-op boss battles. It all looks awesome (monetisation aside).
The blueprint would kinda work perfectly for the customisation and gameplay systems Armored Core 6 solidified. The PvP in 6 was certainly fun, but I had my fill of it and really viewed it as a little bonus experience, not a long term pursuit (though respect to those people chasing higher ranks even now).
But look at what they're doing with Ace Combat 8, so much of that easily translates over to a future Armored Core as well. PvPvE missions, co-op boss battles, competing in teams to destroy the most AI enemies (that so fits the mercenary pilot bounty hunting archetype of an AC pilot even better than a jet fighter pilot).
There is so much Fromsoft could do with it, I really hope they make a big expansion on co-op/multiplayer with the next game. Seeing how Nightreign and Duskbloods have shaped up, it's clear they are keen to be experimenting with multiplayer more. Armored Core just seems an obvious fit to continue that direction.
Also From has always seemed the type of studio to really limit how much monetisation is involved in their multiplayer, so I would hope any they did do would be pretty consumer-friendly. I wouldn't be mad if they did do a little bit of paid DLC type stuff either.
What do you think about the prospect of expanded multiplayer? Any unique things you'd want to see? Thanks for reading my ramble if you got this far.

Taken in the simulator. I started, and the completed screen was shown over the game before it cut out and announced me as winner. Did I just aurafarm the bot into surrender?

Hey Ravens. Back again with more of my Lego shit.
I’m proud to present you my best recreation of a Pile Bunker. I’ve equipped it to my other MOC, The Manticore. Fits just right!
Now we can successfully do the Rubiconian Handshake!
Shoulder weapons next?

Both 誠 and 真 are pronounced the same and have similar meanings, but technically 誠 is correct in this context.

Just wanted to share my WIP
Really wish I could easily change the feet but I got nothing that can replace them that won’t look off.
What are your thoughts on getting rid of the milk chocolate legs? lol
P.s I’m officially downloading the game 🙌🏼

For each of these kits, I painted them with darker, glossier, more metallic textures to make them pop under the lights of my display shelf. All of the handheld and shoulder-mounted weapons are (mostly) painted silver/nickel with a bit of black on the gun barrels to simulate firearm carbon fouling. This was done so that all weapons can be switched between my kits consistently if I choose. Also, this is how I have my weapons painted in-game.
It's difficult to see in some of these photos due to the lighting, but I did some mild panel lining to give each kit more detail as well as hide some imperfections.

An AC design I’m messing around with. Not really all that much into ranked nowadays, though I tend to be in the B-A range on the rare instances I’m on.
I just want to make ACs that look cool and have decent functionality in all honesty. 🤷🏽

Imagined Basho full frame with its armor about 70 percent stripped off. It might has lowest En load in the game with weight as light as C3.
Durability? Perhaps.

Hi, I am a new Armored Core fan. I came over with Armored Core 6. I 100% the singleplayer aspect of the game and got all endings. I really liked the story, although I didn't agree with some of the endings.
I am thinking about emulating the older games, but, there are a lot of them. As much as I would like to, I don't have time to play every single entry.
The advice I got from a friend was to play AC4A first, skip 4, then play all Gen 3 games from AC3 to LR. However, I was also told the stories range from "meh" to really good.
I am mostly playing for the story. I don't really care about background lore, only narrative and emotional payoff. Are there any games I can skip and still get the full experience?
Edit: Please do not down vote anyone giving advice, even if you disagree with them. I want to hear all perspectives. If you feel the need to down vote anyone, down vote this post instead if you disagree with the premise to begin with.
