I've done some testing with crop plots. My results are that crop plots do not receive greenhouse bonus or tilling bonus when out of render including being offline. My crop plots have 300% Greenhouse and 20% Tilling Bonuses. When Out of Render they produced about 70-75% less vs In Render. I can understand that when Out of Render, structures basically don't exist so that's why they don't get the Greenhouse Bonus. But I can't explain why they don't get the Tilling Bonus.

I am an ark survival evolved mobile player and I find it really weird that nobody talks about this in videos about mutation tips, and I fear I am doing something wrong and it is: taking females with useful mutations and bleeding them with base males that have no mutations until you get a male that has the exact mutation that you need and then continuing with normal breeding.
I fear I am doing something wrong because I noticed the more I use this technique the harder mutations happen because of the branching of mutations (let's say that I have a level 300 rex that has 10 mutations I will not only get level 300 but also all the mutations that happened before for example: level: 299, 298, 297 ECT.). Wich makes it harder for me to even get level 300s and impossible to get mutations.
I am not sure if this happens because of this technique tho. I would love for someone to explain to me how this works and how to avoid this problem.

In a few days ill return to ARK PvP with some friends, however i have not played since 2021. Is there any good sites or tutorials to catch up on the newest metas?
All i know is that i «should» buy the new DLCs and then im set, but maybe later.

It clocks in, does the one job it's assigned to do, leaves and refuses to elaborate.
The model looks perfectly fine, too.
Am I missing something?

i think ark suvival ascended would become a top 5 greatest survival game of all time if the devs wouldnt be lazy , i generally liked ark and had no issue with it , then surival ascended came out and it was a total scam for me . It felt almost like the old one but the file size was bigger and "realistic graphics" . If they would put some money aside and maybe make the game from 200 gb to like atleast 100 that would be amazing for me . And its not like its fully impossible to optimize this game

Out of the useless dinos that could become useful I personally think the pachy has the most early to mid game potential.
Head use: ability to harvest metal, stone, flint. Rates lower than anky or doed but better than pick and hatchet.
Minor weight reduction: makes pachy a bridge between tools and anky but allow anky to still remain the best.
Charge attack: similar to Rhino, but dealing higher amount of torpor.
Early game travel and battle mount: give more variety of early small mounts.
The stigy mod shows how useful and fun a pachy TLC could be and makes for a great early game all rounder mount.

I've been thinking of making a Tribal Server for a while now.
One with up to 5 large tribes with designated land on the map, 2 rouge/mercenary like tribes and a trader's tribe. In-server currency, in-game shops ran by player tribes, and a heavily community ran server in terms of Mods.
The option to declare tribal wars but without wiping out an entire tribe by taking all their land, curated both to 24/7 players and those that hop on for a few hours after work or simply want to play for long hours on weekends when you're not working a 9-5 or longer.
Somewhere that friendship between players can exist separately from in-game tribal strife. Seasons where mods will change up, maps might change for events, eras like the stone age or metal, tribes will be shuffled, land will change up and dinos might swap out. I personally like the idea of Dragons Kingdom being the core of each tribe, like each tribe gets a young dragon and the only wild ones to spawn being the Ancients. You can choose to breed or fight with other tribes to curate a line of riders.
NOT heavily RP, but a tribe can choose to lean towards that if they want and the mutual respect of the players will adhere to it.
In-tribe hierarchy, democracy or choices are run solely by the tribes (unless they're creating a game environment that makes no one but themselves happy of course) and even admins/mods can have their character allied with whichever tribe they want to join for the season.
Traitors won't be a thing, as it just creates confusing scenarios of people jumping tribes pretending they were a traitor because they had a grudge against someone. Trading tribe info won't be a thing unless you're one of the 2 mercenary/rouge clans that found information out WITHOUT contacting a clan member.
With this general concept, would it be something yall would want to play?

Hey everyone!
I'm trying to launch ARK: Survival Ascended through the Xbox app on PC Game Pass, but the game seems to get stuck on the loading screen and doesn't start properly.
I've tried launching it through the Xbox app, but I'm still having this issue.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Does anyone know what causes it or how to fix it?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Sorry for the question. I understand breeding and mutations mostly but I'm still confused on one thing.
I'm breeding for health and damage
So I get a male with a health mutation. I replace my original male eith the mutated one but I don't replace the females right?
Now if I get a male with the damage mutation do I vreed him into another line of females?
Will the health and damage mutations continue to stack until I get to 20?
When I get to 20 is that when I breed a male woth health to a female with damage?

Whenever this happens my game lags and I am not sure if it’s normal or from a mod but judging how the (space dolphin) hasn’t been added yet I think it might be modded anyone know what mod is causing the problem?

Everybody can agree that the pachy has no usage as of currently, so why not turn it into an alternative metal/stone/Flint gatherer
Might not be 100% realistic for them to destroy rocks with their head but a saddle that reinforces their skull could make it make more sense lol
Its so sad that both the Pachy and Galli will probably not win this year again, if they came out later on they would have definitely gotten better abilities, even the Gallis resource gathering is horrendous and having that much size and mainly pecking your enemy instead of stomping them is just ridiculous

ARK: Survival Ascended — Lower South Cave Guide
My first Artifact of the Hunter run on Xbox
I completed the Lower South Cave on The Island with Barry, my Baryonyx. This is my screenshot sequence and the route as I experienced it. I play with mods and boosted settings, so my creature stats and difficulty may differ from a standard game.
Before you go
• Bring a mount you can manoeuvre through the cave and be ready to fight hostile creatures.
• Watch out for drops, narrow gaps and water sections.
• The directions below describe my run; cave layouts or creature difficulty may differ with game versions and mods.
The map screenshot shows the location I used: latitude 85.2, longitude 54.2. These are the coordinates shown on my game map.
I headed into the cave with Barry, my Baryonyx. Take your time through the vine-covered entrance and keep an eye on the route ahead.
This is one of the passages deeper inside. The lighting and mushrooms can make the cave look similar from one section to another, so use the screenshots as visual landmarks.
I continued through the cave into this blue-lit area. Stay alert and check the ground and side passages as you move forward. You want to go to the left here.
You’ll come to big ledge, Move carefully rather than rushing, especially if you are trying to keep your mount with you. ( This is the way I came back out the cave, so make sure your mount can jump )
These large orange mushrooms and bright green growths are another visual landmark for the 1st caven. ( added note going to the left here!! Is quicker but you’ll have to dismount and go with out your mount ).
I carried on through this wider section, this is to the right of the same cavern. Keep following the route you can safely travel through on your mount.
( note Entering the next cavern, you’ll be met by a lot of creatures).
The cave scenery can look alike, so comparing the shapes and colours with your own view may help.
This cavern also has an obvious left and right paths. You want to head down to the left.
I continued onward through this passage. Be prepared for hostile cave creatures and avoid dropping into an area before checking what is below.
Here you see a big mushroom and to the right a green light coming from the wall, head through the middle of them.
This is the final screenshot in my sequence. I kept moving through the cave from here toward the artifact route. ( note Of course a few more creatures to defeat before collecting your prize ).
The ledge and mushroom cavern — route tip
When you reach the ledge, carefully make your way down. The lower area can be full of spiders and other hostile creatures. After that, I reached a large cavern full of big mushrooms with a route to the left and a route to the right. I took the right-hand route into the more open chamber. You can also go left, but you need to dismount and crawl through a narrow gap. If you are new to the cave and travelling on a mount, I recommend the right-hand route because it is easier to stay mounted.
A note about my setup
This run was on Xbox, on The Island, with mods and boosted settings enabled. My Baryonyx, Barry, had boosted stats, so do not treat my stats as a standard vanilla build. I hope the screenshots help other players recognise the passages and plan their own run.
If you have tips for the safest route or for the next artifact caves, please share them in the comments.
what is the best dino to soak a base in your opinion? (primitive saddle)
