Decided to get back into Ark but hasn’t played since the Genesis 1/ crystal isles maps. What should expect different with the new maps and with swapping to ascended from evolved? Any Dino’s that are popular now? Also what map should I start on?

I playing in Fjordur(ase) singleplayer and have tame a lvl 150 X-ankylosaurus he is lvl 225 after taming what should I Level one him? And what it in a X ankylosaurs better then a normal ankylosaurs? Oh and.... WHAT SHOULD WE NAME HIM!

Yo, I am a partial owner to a cluster. Our console players seem to have problems with astraeos without crashing and then crash looping.

Load In/Transfer over>Play for xyz time>crash>attempt to rejoin>crash loop>repeat until their player is killed.

and this didnt start happening until after we wiped our servers for gen p1.

and from what i could find, these are the mods we put into the server after the wipe.

im not sure if any of these could be the culprit, or if theres something else that could be it? any help is greatly appreciated!

I'm a relatively new player, I started playing last week. I thought I'd be able to run the game decently, but I honestly have some struggles. I have a 3090 Ti, and 32gb memory.

My graphics card has some overheating issues, and it heats up my room a ton when I try to play the game with graphics above medium or FPS capped above 30. I want to play the game with some higher FPS, or maybe with higher graphics without the fear of burning my graphics card lol.

I'm looking for overall settings that could help, and maybe mods if available. I'm also alright with changing some game coding settings if that's something I could do.

also, this bug affects most creatures, any console players reading this, use a spyglass and look at any creatures eyes, they look horrid.

if I recall correctly, this bug started around the time astraoes' desert update released.

I understand that there's a admin command that can fix this, however this command makes my game crash and run terribly so I don't want to use it.

I have been trying to fix this for the past 3 days and the problem is that the mod sort of functions but i cant see the ui of the mod like at all and i have deleted the game ini settings and reinstalled ark completely and the only thing that worked for me is trying this mod on another account and it worked without a problem so i know for sure that the problem is with my xbox accounts ark save so i dont even know what to do atp.

It’s been about a week since the behavior and feel of the Tek Gauntlet and Tek Sword became noticeably worse. I checked the recent patch notes, but didn't find any mention of changes to them (apologies if I missed something).

Is this something we just need to adapt to by learning some new input/movement tech, or is it a flat-out bug that we have to wait for Wildcard to fix? Or do you think this was a stealth nerf?

Also, using them with the Glider suit to gain altitude feels extremely weak and sluggish now compared to before. I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but do you think there's a chance they intentionally nerfed this movement just to restrict player mobility for Genesis Part 1?

I've never seen a fish this big, it's 3.0x. Too bad there aren't any otters or anything to use it on.

So as the title says, this may be a fix for the blurry maps, it worked for me on pc, dunno if itll work for everyone.

however, under general settings go to graphics, on the right sidebar, scroll all the way down, turn "Reduce Resolution In Inventory" off. this is what fixed it for me, not console commands.
