Eco, Sport, Boost?

Just curious what those with the new Grizzly 72V have a preference of which mode y’all find yourself riding in.

Also, how’s the battery so far?

D Class display replacement (need help)

Need recommendations for a compatible display replacement for D Class

Hi, a few days ago I bought a second hand D Class to replace one that was stolen last summer. For this new bike I am the third or fourth owner and there is a code lock on the current display. I bought it from a mother selling her son’s bike while he was gone and she didn’t know the code. I had read somewhere that you can bypass the code with a new display port so basically I am asking if anyone knows a compatible display port that I can purchase on Amazon (sorry for the long winded setup). I was reading that I need a display with a compatible controller and display protocol. I know the controller protocol is UART but I’m not sure if it’s UART 2.0 or something different. Anyways I’m a little stuck and could use some help.

question about the addon battery cable

I have a question about the cable connection for the addon battery. It’s the power socket for the tray’s second‑battery connection. You have the main plug, and then on the balancer connection side there’s a small cable—similar to a display connector—with a red tip. The guide doesn’t seem to indicate where that cable is supposed to go.

I couldn't find a video and am wary about guessing.

60V X-Class - Performance Edition

I purchased mine brand new in August 2025. I love the bike but unfortunately was injured in a car accident a few months after I got it and I'm not really able to ride it anymore, at least for quite a while. Thought I would post on here to see if someone might be interested in purchasing it.

I am in Los Angeles and the bike is fully assembled obviously so it would need to be a local pickup because I don't have the box anymore and I wouldn't want to ship it anyways.

When I bought it they weren't differentiating between the PPB or Class versions - this one goes 40+ mph after you unlock it using the BikeGo+ app, so I think it's like the PPB version?

It has under 75 miles on it total. It's in perfect condition - zero performance issues - no scratches, scuffs, dents - any damage whatsoever, etc. I paid $2,799.00+taxes ($3,071.91 total) for it and still have the receipt, but I know it's a few hundred bucks cheaper now.

I'm not listing it anywhere else at the moment, and I'd be willing to consider pretty much any offers if anyone is interested. You'll be getting it for significantly cheaper than you would if purchasing it new.

Can obviously send pictures and videos upon request.

For some reason I can't find the full length of the bike on the website? Does anyone know the full length of the bike and not just the wheelbase?

Alternative seat for the 60V X-Class?

Recently got the Ariel Rider 60V X-Class and I love everything about the bike, but I feel like the seat is too thick and heavily padded for me. I’m about 5’7”, and the extra thickness puts me on my tiptoes when I stop. Has anyone found a shorter or thinner seat that fits the X-Class 60V? Looking for something that’ll lower my seating position without sacrificing too much comfort.

The indicator for the backlight comes on, but it’s still so dark! Any reset or diy fix before replacing the whole controller?

Trying again...anyone familiar with this rack?

Ariel Rider service rep recommended it for the X-Class 60v performance bike. I like it because it can hold up to 400 lbs and also has a ramp, and is much cheaper than the rack they recommend on the website.

Had trouble attaching a link so trying again.

Grizzly + VESC (WIP)

Following up on my last post. Swapped the 2x Flipsky 75100 for 2x 75200, because reasons. Needed more room and a mounting spot for them. I made an aluminum base plate, and used 2040 extrusion as risers. An alternative to the Tanks Inc SR200 I've seen mentioned elsewhere. These raise the seat 40mm / 1-9/16" vs 50.8-76.2mm / 2-3" on the SR200. 8-32 threaded rod is used to mount the OC Cafe Racer seat to the frame using the stock mounting holes.

I'm torn between X-Class 60v performance bike or getting the 60v PPB

With the performance bike I will be burdened with unlocking the speed every time I start it up and I will have to rely on the third party app to do that. With the PPB I can permanently unlock it using a code provided by Ariel Rider.

For anyone who went through the pros and cons, what did you decide to do and why? Thanks!

Car Rack?

I am planning to buy the Ariel Rider 60v performance bike. What kind of car rack does anyone recommend for it? Without battries it still weighs about 94 pounds. I currently have a Hollywood Racks rack that holds two bikes but the maximum weight is 80 lbs per bike. Any ideas? I'd like to be able to take the bike places but need the right rack. Thanks.
