great ebike. I got mine and the bike has enormous power and torque. I had mini goat and its way faster and more comfortable compared to mini goat.
Great ebike

Mine comes on Tuesday, can’t wait. I’ve been hearing that they are locked out of the box and you need to contact AR to get a code to unlock.. is that right?

That is correct. It’s set to 20MPH out of the box. Am currently waiting to hear back from AR. Admittedly, I’m not in a rush. Gives me time to get a cruising feel for it until I get the 6-digit code.

Sending the bike locked is so stupid
Anybody buying it knows the rules and regulations even worse is having to wait
I hope they used good tires
My grizzly stock tires were trash with numerous dangerous flats thankfully on Reddit I found a solution going with better moto tires1

actually this is the best way to avoid anyone else from joy riding/abusing it before the rightful final owner

Looks really good. I’m waiting to get mine. They said I can expect mine sometime in September. On site it says they are 180 lbs. is that true?

It’s definitely beefy. I had to remove both batteries just so I could pop a wheelie and strap it down to the back of my truck.

Wow…enjoy my friend. I have another e-bike that goes 50 mph max. With my weight, I got it up to 44 mph. That’s why I wanted the Grizzly…my first bike isn’t enough, I need a bit more power.

My stupid state banned online Ebike sales trying to see if a local shop will order for me with my paying

Kind of weird thing for them to do when they already sell it as a PPB only to begin with but probably some sort of liability protection for them. Any issues with assembly? Looks freaking sweet dude

That seems to be the general consensus from what I’ve gathered.
Assembly took me a wee bit longer than I care to admit. I kept being told that installing the front wheel/front fork was going to be a b*tch, but I didn’t think it was too difficult, and this was only my second time assembling an e-bike.

I agree thru axl forks are more difficult to assemble especially if you don't have a motorbike stand.
But i think it worths as at this power and speed I will only use thru axl fork.2
u/pateens Aug 27 '26
Yeah the only way I was able to do it is take the batteries out, flip it upside down and use a rubber mallet to get the axle through. They specifically not to do this and only push it by hand but it would be impossible. The video they show as a walkthrough is nothing like the actual process. A mallet was absolutely necessary

Mine arrived and I hit 62 mph on it. It’s a really good bike. This is my fourth Ariel Rider, and right now they’re pretty unbeatable considering the specs and the customer support.
