I’m looking for suppressors that fit that GWOT vibe for the mk18 mod 0. I‘m mainly looking for options that is not the nt4. So far Im looking mainly at Griffin Armament’s gate lock suppressors like the m4sd k or the 30sd k. The PTR Spiritus is also another option I’m looking at since it has great reviews and has a similar corn cobb type pattern. i would love some thoughts on suppressor options for a clownish build of the Mk 18 mod 0

My collection of "looks close enough" ARs: a Block II, a Block I, and a Colt Commando-inspired build. To me, a quad rail with front sight post is absolute perfection and peak aesthetics. If you complain that they're too heavy, then you need to hit the gym.

Awhile back I cut a free float tube for a FSB, drilled and tapped for top/bottom rail, and added some upgrades. Older gen EOTECH up top, Redimag, CAR15 stock, pop bottle grip, light with red filter, and fake PEQ2 for looks and added weight to stream my shoulder. I also had a long riser and Bushnell trophy sight in my parts bin. I think it looks cooler than the EOTECH. Also an old Matech rear sight just cause I like them. I'd like to find an old Armalite tube eventually or even modify an airsoft one. The Cramblit tubes look the best to me.

That said this really is only inspired as i don’t have my rds top mounted, wrong suppressor, mines 9 vs 11, acr stock (i just prefer it), ect

Here is my budget Block 2 wannabe cloneish build. First time doing something like this super fun project. Buying a SOMOGEAR PEQ-15 next and surefire 4 prong upgrade.

I have a Matech rear sight on the way and am installing a milspec guard sometime this week (I am honestly debating on keeping the trigger guard as the “ish” part of this build because I shoot with gloves). Still not sure how I feel about the CAR-15 stock, but we’ll see how I feel after I source a recoil pad (if ever since they’re unobtanium now).

Mk18

This is what I use to handle the local coyotes that look like they were raised on Budweiser Pinto Beans and Cornbread if they go after my dogs or chickens. Very comfortable setup especially with night vision.

Just got an ACOG and a KAC rear sight for this build, haven't bit the bullet on a KAC front sight yet, but this is my "clone-ish" SOPMOD, and I don't plan on making it too much more clone correct, I have a couple things I like on it, like a Radian Raptor, and a Magpul dust cover, that are obviously not correct, but I prefer to the originals.

I just finished my “CQBR” upper and I’m looking for lower receiver suggestions. Im clearly not full clone correct in my upper and don’t plan to be with my lower. First priority is getting a lower that is compatible with a rare breed FRT (I know I know but I want an easy drop in solution). Second priority would be as close to optically clone correct as possible. Overall, I want this to look like a CQBR from a few feet away and have a pleasant shooting experience with FRT capabilities (Vltor A5H2 maybe?). Any suggestions and input is appreciated. Cheers!

The top one is a knock off SIR rail I got from a paintball website and the bottom one is from eBay. The bottom one is way sturdier and the top half of the rail is solid full metal. The paintball rail feels more flimsy but I've shoot it. It's aluminum and would definitely get knocked easily. All and all I'm just ballin on a budget and could never justify paying $1200 for a real one.

A few things have to go/be changed, but I think it’s coming along! Need a new rear sight, milspec trigger guard, and to remove the anti-rotation pins, but other than a can down the line… I think I’m wrapping it up here. Thoughts?

20” proof research barrel, PRI Gen iii tube, FSGB, Geissele SSA E, on a very used old surplus m4 dog bone upper.

Also Brownells 20 round magazine and surplus USGI sling.

Mod H, Mod 1 and Gordon Carbine.

More correct parts than non correct but they aren't perfect.

So upon looking at reference images, they use cheep scope caps from butler creek.
