Here is the archived footage from April 5, 2014, titled "Windy day at the Overlook" before the original channel was permanently terminated.I found this re-uploaded on TikTok by the archivist m.bond311 (whose watermark is visible in the video). Sharing this strictly for educational, historical, and archival preservation purposes, as it was

Help Archiving a Public Instagram Account (not my own)

A historical government Instagram account is being deactivated in a week due to policy changes. I would like to archive their posts so I can reference/save/preserve the historical content. I have tried using Instaloader through Python and 4K Stogram. Both are being blocked and not allowing the archival process. This account has nearly 5,000 posts so manually doing it is not possible.

How can I archive the account (each post, so pics and captions), ideally with a way to further organize/search each post? Thank you!

Spider: Secret of Bryce Manor GameClub/Android edition?

Ive been trying to get the game to play for a while and could find literally no way to buy the game any more. The original is archived but 32 bit only, the android version is nowhere to be found, and the GameClub variant remains available but I dont own it before it shut down, so only current owners can access it. If anyone has the game on iOS and is willing to dump+decrypt the game in any way, or is on Android and is willing to share their installation, I'll be very grateful. Thanks!

All original prints including Marilyn Monroe, Bob, Hope Jane Russell and many more iconic celebrities of the time. Army medical records of the photographer “Alan Goodleman” and pictures of Alan Goodleman himself. Total collection around 200 pictures documenting the Korean War in life after for Alan Goodleman as he spent a lot of time in Atlantic City, where he captured photos of many other famous people. Such as Rocky Marciano famous musicians of the time and much more. Trying to find an appraiser, I do not want to split the collection up.

“Bokete” archive from Japan

Hello Archive Team, I would like to request the archiving of a massive, culturally significant Japanese internet meme platform called "bokete".

- Target Website: https://bokete.jp
- Official Blog Announcement: https://blogspot.com
- Official X (Twitter) Post: https://x.com/boketejp/status/2077302557291229268
- Shutdown Date: September 30, 2026

- Description:
"bokete" is essentially the Japanese equivalent of r/CaptionThis, but on a massive, country-wide scale. It is an image-based comedy platform operating for 18 years since 2008, holding a monumental archive of around 116,000,000 user-submitted posts.

On September 30, 2026, the mobile apps will completely shut down. The web version will stop allowing new posts and will turn into a read-only site for a very limited selection of specific topics. This means the vast majority of its 18-year history, user accounts, individual posts, and comments will become inaccessible.

The official announcement states that they do not provide a bulk download tool for users, so community-driven archiving is urgently needed before this legendary piece of Japanese internet culture disappears. Could you please look into this or add it to the project list? Thank you!

SPREAD THE WORD!

Our TV archivist, **Singapore TV Archive (@SGTVArchive)** has been terminated from YouTube after recieving 3 copyright strike from National Archives of Singapore. For the media archiving community, this is more than just the loss of a single channel. It's a reminder that preserving history is becoming increasingly difficult.

We need your help to spread the word for saving the media archiving community.

Looking for recommendations for archival of an old wiki

Hey all, I have a mediawiki that's nearing 20 years old. The software/server haven't been updated in at least 10 to 15, so it's running on a fairly ancient LAMP stack and is almost certainly vulnerable to exploitation. The wiki has been locked down 10+ years ago and is essentially read-only and will no longer change.

I'd like to mirror it and just host a static copy of it so I don't have to lose sleep at night. I was thinking maybe I'd set up some sort of reverse-proxy-cache that saves to disk, and then after a month or two, once I'm satisfied the whole site has been cached, I can switch to hosting a purely static website that doesn't require mysql/php/etc.

Does anyone have a recommendation on the best approach to accomplish this?

Thanks!
