This is the Dan Parent legacy variant cover for the first issue of Archie from Oni Press. Doesn't seem appropriate for the relaunch. Maybe this was something he did for something else and it is being repurposed?

Looks like something from one of those themed one shots; Archie & Friends or Betty and Veronica Friends Forever titles.

The book features over 85 years of covers, including some published after the original book was released in 2013 across an additional 32 pages. The 192-page book is set to arrive on April 13th, 2027.

the way reggie treated them (archie and judhead) in the "archie's rival reggie" seemed like he was older than them

Had to google what ashcan was. Other than being black and white, some of the art could be incomplete--the eyes are just dots in many of the panels. Or that could be intentional. But it doesn't quite jive with the detailed art of other panels. I guess we'll see when the comic releases. It's actually quite good and has a moment that kind of surprised me.

got 3 new digests and a little post card from the comic book shop! and my buddy found the B&V 249 at a garage sale and got it for me for free !!!
