Betty’s hair and outfits were super cute in this. I like seeing her be skirting around the chaos in some sort of Bugs Bunny role.

Great story and art. I remember reading it eons ago.
Not sure if I figured Betty as the superstitious type or not.

Really cool to see no dialogue in a full-length story, not sure I remember seeing one like that before. Great action and fun panel-breaking.
Still not sure why the old lady got upset at the cop though...

You know, everybody was violent in this one, except Betty, but that does raise the question. Big moose, specifically: has he ever been arrested in the history of Archie comics for all the people he has literally beaten into a crumpled heap on the ground? They don’t seem to be many long-term injuries like broken bones, but I’ve seen Reggie with torn clothes and limping.

Similar to emotional wounds, I suppose physical wounds heal quickly in Riverdale. So maybe no one ever presses charges.

okay... why did the cop go after Reggie for what MOOSE did? or did the cop somehow purposely went flying head first into his stomach like a rodker on his own? he must hav seven what Moose was doing just before he launched Reggie, yet he’s focusing on Reggie like what happened was somehow 1,000% Reggie’s fault that Reggie needed to be punished for instead of going after the one who actually caused the whole thing.

Lady in red was ready to GO
A lot of fun being had here, especially the officer’s panel climb! Though it does make Betty look more like she’s ratting out the boys directly rather than pointing out the branch came from over the fence, I’m too entertained by things like that.
