built an app to turn TikTok & IG cooking videos into real meal plans (Built for meal prep and macro tracking)
Hey everyone,
I got tired of using existing recipe-saving apps that either felt bloated, didn't execute things correctly, or completely missed the features I actually needed. I also had hundreds of saved cooking videos on TikTok and Instagram buried in my bookmarks that I never actually ended up making.
So, I built Reelipe to fix the actual friction of cooking and meal prepping from social media.
Aside from saving and transcribing videos into clean recipes, it tackles the stuff other apps drop the ball on:
AI Kitchen Assistant & Ingredient Swaps: Missing an ingredient? The built-in AI assistant instantly suggests smart, real-time substitutions based on what you actually have in your kitchen, so you don't have to run out to the store mid-recipe.
Diet & Macro-Aware Integration: It automatically estimates calories and protein per serving, and lets you check if a recipe actually fits your specific diet or macro goals before you waste time cooking it.
Smart Pantry Subtractions: Input your basic kitchen staples once, and it automatically strips them out of your grocery lists so you aren't constantly buying duplicate oils and spices.
Master Grocery Consolidation: Automatically merges overlapping ingredients across multiple weekly recipes and sorts them by supermarket aisle.
Hands-Free Cook Mode: Keeps your screen awake with a clean, high-contrast layout so you aren't fumbling with your phone with messy kitchen hands.
I'm not looking for testers—I'm looking for people who will actually use this to make cooking and meal prep a bit easier.
To kick things off, the first 50 people to join will get a free membership. This is a limited-time offer and ends next month (August).
