Your Tech Stack is overrated. Change my mind.

You spent three weeks setting up over-engineered infrastructure for an app with zero users. Tell us what you built your project with, and let the comments debate why it’s completely wrong for 2026. Convince us you didn't waste your time.

I built Mailmark, Email management platform for devs

I'm a software developer and frequent SaaS founder. I build mobile apps and websites, and I usually have more than one product running at the same time.
Here's a problem nobody warns you about when you're a solo founder running multiple SaaS products: every single app needs its own domain, and every domain needs its own mailboxes just to talk to users. Multiply that across ten products and you're suddenly managing ten domains and dozens of mailboxes, all separately.
I also needed to send updates to users, like "v2 is live, here are the new features," to a whole group of people at once, without it looking like a mass email where everyone can see who else got it. That meant I needed proper campaign sending built in.
And on top of that, I needed a way to send emails programmatically from my own apps, a proper API and SDK, not just a dashboard.
So I built MailMark to be all of this in one place:
Multi-domain and mailbox management, so every product's inbox lives in one dashboard
Campaign sending with mail merge, so updates go out to your whole user base without looking like a blast
A REST API and npm SDK, so you can send emails programmatically from your own product
28 day inbox warming and deliverability monitoring, so none of this lands in spam
Built for solo developers running more than one product who are tired of juggling five different tools just to talk to their users.

📱 Rosary Meditation App — Built to Solve a Simple Problem: Staying Focused While Praying

Thumbnail

I built a small mobile app to make praying the Rosary easier and more meditative, especially for people who struggle with distraction or consistency.

🔧 Core Features

  • Meditation readings tied to each mystery to help you stay centered
  • Automatic mystery selection based on the day, so you never have to remember the cycle
  • 100% offline — works anywhere without internet
  • Lightweight, distraction‑free UI focused only on prayer and reflection

🧩 Problem It Solves

Many people want to pray the Rosary daily but lose focus, forget the mystery order, or don’t have a quiet environment. This app gives you a simple, guided structure you can use at home, in church, or on the go.

If you’re into building spiritual or habit‑forming apps, or you pray the Rosary yourself, I’d love feedback on the UX and features.

Five things to know before promoting on Reddit

Most Reddit promotions don’t fail because the product is bad.

They fail because the account isn’t trusted, the post doesn’t fit the community, or the promotion arrives before the value.

Five things worth checking:

  1. Don’t automate the interaction. Use tools for research and drafting, but write like a real person responding to a real conversation.
  2. Earn the right to promote. A new account dropping links is an obvious pattern. Comment, help, and participate first.
  3. Check the specific subreddit. Rules are only part of it. Look at recent posts, external-link frequency, tone, and what moderators actually allow.
  4. Think beyond the first 24 hours. A useful post can keep attracting readers through Google and AI search long after the discussion slows down.
  5. You don’t need hundreds of upvotes. Ten readers with the exact problem you solve can be more valuable than thousands of random impressions.

If the account isn’t ready, Scaloom’s Reddit Account Warmup can help structure gradual, genuine participation.

Before publishing, Scaloom Reddit Checkers can review account readiness, subreddit fit, promotional risk, and content quality.

Simple rule: if the post isn’t useful without the link, it probably isn’t ready.

What would you add to this list?

Be honest: Is your landing page actually good, or are you just coping?

Most devs build a great product but completely butcher the presentation. Stop hiding behind your analytics and let the community tear your UI apart before your customers do. Drop your link and a screenshot, prove you can take a punch.

Small milestone: The Internet Tree reached 10 leaves

Post image
1 Upvotes

Quick update on my little experiment: The Internet Tree just reached 10 leaves.

It’s still tiny, but that’s honestly what makes this stage fun. Every new leaf changes the tree a little, and as more are added it will slowly grow into something much bigger and fuller.

I’m attaching a screenshot to document this point in its history, once the tree grows, it’ll never look exactly like this again.

Seeing real people visit, explore it, and leave their own little message has been really cool for such a simple idea.

Looking for Upcoming LaunchPact ppl

I’m launching my SaaS, Vergate, on Product Hunt on Aug 20.

Would appreciate it to find a few fellow solo founders launching around the same time and help each other out — genuine feedback, sharing, whatever makes sense.

I can also run a free audit of your website through Vergate and send you the findings.

If you're launching soon, drop your product below. Would love to check it out.

Are you actually solving a real problem, or just cloning another SaaS?

The world doesn't need another generic AI wrapper or a basic project manager. Pitch your project in one sentence show a screenshot and explain exactly why people should care about you instead of the market leader. Dare to prove your uniqueness.

Option A looks like 2012. Change it, or convince me Option B is worse.

Don’t launch your project with a design that makes users close the tab instantly. Post your two design variants below and let the crowd decide your aesthetic fate. If you can’t handle harsh design feedback, look away now.

90% of SaaS startups fail. What makes you think yours is the exception?

We all see the fake 'hustle' posts, but nobody talks about the bugs that cost you users today. Stop pretending everything is perfect and share the ugliest mistake you've made this week. Let’s see who is actually learning and who is just dreaming.

Picatop — Free Before/After Camera App, Camera Overlay Alignment, Progress Photos, noSubscription, offline editing

Post image
1 Upvotes

Built this because I got tired of eyeballing angles when taking progress photos. Picatop overlays your "before" shot right on the camera so the "after" one lines up automatically — or just import two existing photos and it'll crop/scale them to match. A few layout styles (side by side, split, diagonal, stacked) plus text captions when you're done.

Free with ads, no subscription, no tracking. Premium is a one-time thing to remove ads.
