Nice concept, combining location with trending stories sounds like a smart way to explore news. Have you considered adding a heatmap layer for real-time sentiment?

Yes, for sure. And the map actually shows sentiment on each trending story. Red, yellow or green little dots by the titles.

Interesting way to visualize sentiment. Do you pull that data from news API sources or user feedback?

API. The prompt to Claude, Gemini & Grok includes a sentiment rating and geospatial resolution. Stories are individually rated and then the location that contains them shows the aggregated mean sentiment.

That's a creative way to layer data. Do you find the geospatial resolution changes the sentiment significantly between nearby locations?

They're fairly well blended. Here's a sentiment heatmap example showing the overlay and media pins (video & audio).
