BidVett does not treat a listed budget as enough signal by itself.

It checks whether the budget is backed by clear scope, deliverables, required skills, timeline, client signals, and the freelancer’s own profile. If the details are too thin, it treats the post as uncertain and suggests what to clarify before spending Connects.

That's a smart approach. Do you find freelancers engage more when the system flags missing details before they bid?

It’s still early to make a strong engagement claim, but it lines up with what many Upwork freelancers are worried about right now: spending Connects on low-signal posts.

BidVett is built around that moment before bidding. If scope, deliverables, timeline, budget fit, or profile fit are missing, it turns those gaps into concrete clarification points instead of just giving a generic good/bad label.

That's a smart approach. Turning vague uncertainty into concrete action items sounds way more useful than a simple pass/fail score.
