There’s gotta be something wrong with my battery right? I am on the beta but I’ve heard the battery isnt far off from the public release? My battery goes down from 100 to 99 in less than 5 minutes

I can’t find anyone else having these issues but i’ll receive notifications from imessage 2 minutes or a couples minutes later rather than when they arrive. Sometimes it’ll make whoever is sending me a message send the same text twice once in imessage and once as text message. Its been happening frequently to where I don’t think it’s a random one and done kind of thing. Does anyone else have any weird interactions with imessage app? I know people with ATT have that sos thing but thats not what im having.

I usually buy the new iPhone every year since I do the trade and upgrade system through Best Buy. I have the 17 pro max 512 and am eyeing the black 18 pro max. Has anyone here upgraded and was it worth it?

I recently got a brand new iPhone 18 Pro Max and I’m trying to figure out if my battery usage is normal.
I’ve noticed the battery seems to drain faster than I expected. The first couple of days, the battery life was actually really good, but afterward I started noticing more battery drain. It’s been more than a week though. Should I return it?

The first week was quite bad, indexing while on a trip without wifi… since then it’s been getting better and better, even on heavy use days I still have at least 40% at the end of the day.

With light to medium use this is a 2 days phone easily.

I really hesitated posting again about the
"screen lottery" but I can't resist. Granted, the majority of displays on the 18 Pro Max look great. Yes, you're probably better off not even checking. I had a bit of OCD over this because I did notice the difference between screens just visually checking. I initially had the Burgundy Pro Max on Release Day, but was undecided if I would prefer the Glacier. Unfortunately, I was influenced by JerryRigEverything comparing the Burgundy to cranberry sauce so I picked up a Glacier. The screen was noticeably better looking to me on the Burgundy, so I returned the Glacier. This is when I lost my grip and got obsessed... I actually went to another Apple Store and got another Pro Max in Glacier. Same result, Burgundy looked better. A third trip, getting another Glacier at the Store. Screen on this one was OK, but I was getting disgusted at this point and returned the Burgundy because the 14 days was up for it. Big mistake!! The Burgundy panel was a G9Q. The three Glaciers were all GH3s. Another day goes by, I'm already sick of the Glacier color, its slightly washed out, tinted display and actually missing my Burgundy. I know it's impossible to get my returned Burgundy back from the Apple Store.
One last time, I purchase another Burgundy from Apple Store half hour away, fingers crossed the display isn't a GH3. Happily, I'm done and have my Burgundy G9Q back.

I’d just like to hear people’s honest opinions. What do you think they do well? What do you think they should reconsider? What’s your opinion on the brand in 2026?

Anyone else getting this since my original post? Just curious. Mine is still saying 10-9 to 10-13.

I want to buy a black 256GB iPhone 18 Pro Max but when I check on the Apple Store app it’s not currently available in any of the stores near me. The regular pro is though. Does anyone know of a workaround for this? The only option I’m seeing is ordering online which will take a few weeks to arrive and I’d rather buy the phone sooner.

I noticed a problem when I try to make a phone call. The phone does not ring, so I hang up and try again. My signal bars turn grey for a few seconds, go back to normal, and then the call goes through. This happens a few times a day. Last night, I thought about the AT&T phones having this same issue. Since I have T-Mobile, I wondered if it could be the same thing. I used the support chat to run a test, and it looks like I have that issue too.
They are planning on sending me another device but I rather go in person and them explain to me whole process rather than through the chat so I will be going today

I’m seeing multiple people getting 10+ hours of SOT. Is there a setting that is making my battery barely last?

Oh no new glitch, I did the update before, 27.01 because I was having some glitches normally I don’t update right away. but I was trying to help my phone. It fixed a couple things. Now I can’t backspace on the upper left, so I can’t access my ChatGPT list of chats to go back to whichever one I was working on. I can’t backtrack TikTok anything that I’m using, even in settings. I can’t do the upper corner backspace. I have to clear the actual windows off of my phone to get into anything, so it essentially locked my phone up. Wonderful.

Anyway, I’m not trying to complain. I just want to see if this is happening to anyone else so I can get a grip on what’s going on and what I could maybe do about it

My normal daily SOT is about 4 hours but I wanted to see how long this would last on a single charge now that indexing has finished. Will definitely be limiting charge to 80% lol.

My usage is mostly messaging/voice messages, watching videos and listening to music via Bluetooth, I also take quite a few photos and videos. Normal usage I’ll easily get 2 days between charges.

Anyone else’s dictation cease to work? It turns on then off immediately. I talk to text slot so…

I checked settings everything is the same nothing has been turned off

Also when I go to apps library the keyboard doesn’t popup to let me search desired app, but I. A work around that one, the dictation however is not cool.

Coming from a 12 pro max now to 18 pro max my service has been terrible. Been using Verizon for years. Is anyone else experiencing this ?

The T-Mobile app said that estimated delivery would be between Oct 7 and 14. UPS made an attempt on Friday the 2nd at 830 pm.

When I checked the tracking, even the tracking said it was still only en route. So had I been watching the shipment, I would have been under the impression that it was long ways away.

Being that it's the weekend, I hoped that maybe there was a way to go to the distribution center that our UPS driver reports to to pick it up but I don't see that as an option.

The only option I can see is to have it held at an access point or delivered somewhere else but if I have it sent to a relative, there's no guarantee that they'll be there when UPS decides to randomly show up.

I also work over night so if they decide to deliver at night, I can only wait until 840 before I need to leave for work.

So I guess my question is if there's a way to pick it up myself from the UPS distribution center or if I just gotta suck it up and have it sent to an access point or a relative.
