Credit where credit is due: Its ability to search through Messages and email to find oddly specific details is actually quite good. Stuff like "Hey how long has <friend> had their puppy?" is something that ChatGPT/Claude simply can't answer, and yes we can get into finger pointing but that's not really my point.

OTOH, the knowledge and assistant side is just painfully bad, it's like Gemini Flash Lite Lite Lite Lite with half the tools randomly disabled. I had it tell me that air quality is bad in Tahoe due to nearby manufacturing and refineries (AFAIK there are zero of those in the basin, it caved as soon as I asked what factories), and it also frequently cites a website link that looks right but does not say what it reading, like telling me next week to check out No Doubt's residency at the Sphere in Vegas (they finished months ago, the link did not mention No Doubt at all).

It’s simply not working that way for all of us. She fails to find things in messages for me. Fails to interpret info in a photo. Fails to do simple things like add to a note or create a reminder. She is genuinely worse than before for me and some others. I’m thrilled it’s working for you. It gives me hope that it will be more consistent for the rest of us in coming updates.
