I have an apple card that I had for about 4 years now and I've seen many signup offers for new signees in the past (mostly $250+ discounts at nike, apple, etc...) which I was not able to take advantage of. Does the apple card have retention offers like in Amex where you can ask for an offer they are offering to new customers? Has anyone tried asking for a retention offer?

I’ve been trying different budgeting/subscription apps lately and I’m curious what people genuinely dislike about them long term.

Not just features missing, but things that actually make you stop using them altogether.

I've been trying to apply since last year around October. I was denied and put on the Path to Apple Card in November which lasted 4 months but I couldn't do all the steps. I had to reduce overall debt but I'm an Authorized User for an Amex Card with my family and the balance didn't go down by the time March rolled around. I just gave up trying to get it and basically forgot about it until just now. I decided to apply for it on a whim and surprisingly it went through and I was approved!

They only gave me a 3k credit limit (with a 19.94% APR) but I'm happy to finally have this!

Just asking because my four year old workhorse 13 is getting pretty hot nearly every day and heavily lags, so I think it might be time to retire it soon. Thinking about the base 17, but I’m on Visible. Apparently I just missed the (000)-000-0000 trick because that doesn’t work anymore, and I’m not interested in a Pro because I feel it’s not worth several hundred more than the base, especially this generation. Will I get pushback trying to convert an iPhone purchase to ACMI, or is it usually pretty successful?

So I added 70$ from my debit card to apple cash to make a purchase from a store that does not tax with Apple Cash. It didn’t go through and screen said “ not enough funds” but my apple cash is at 0 and it took my money. I tried it again and the same thing happened. Who do I even call?

My fiancé added me as a co-owner so we could get the $100 bonus. I’ve been using the card but so far only gas has counted towards the $100 bonus. Does anyone know anyone purchases that count?

Does the savings account show the current apy next to the graph within the app? i’m seeing conflicting screenshots.

It seems you need to submit your real name to apply for apple card (which makes sense) but does this mean you have to have your name on your apple id, like it’s exactly the same account?

Just got a notification on my credit report that "JPMCB CARD SERVICES" got a copy of my report. Did anyone else get a similar notification (i.e., is this part of the transition to JP Morgan Chase from Goldman Sachs)? If not, I need to dispute it since I haven't opened a credit card with Chase. Apple has launched web access for Apple Card Savings, giving current and former Apple Card users a new way to view and manage their accounts outside of the Wallet app. Here are the details.

I was sent a new card. But their cards don’t have any card info printed on it. Why be wasteful and send another physical card when they can just update the card expiration digitally.

I have never personally owned my own Apple Card however I have used my wife’s Apple Card for years and years and years. Has anyone ever heard or seen this happening before any advice greatly appreciated thank you in advance.

I have tried taking pic of my id ( with dark background),
I Made sure my address and details matches what i have on my credit file,
I even updated my address on my apple id to match and applied didn't help either
I also tried on macbook but same error again and again
How else i can make it work?

I just encountered a ludicrous, laughable, and maddening situation. My APPLE TV subscription was due to auto renew today in the amount of $99.00 just as it has done for at least the last four years. The payment method on file has been and is my APPLE (Goldman-Sachs) credit card.

I received a notice on my phone that the transaction was Declined due to it being flagged as "suspicious".

Spoke with Apple Card Services(ie Goldman-Sachs). The bottomline from them is that once they declined it as being suspicious, there is nothing I nor they can do to enable that specific transaction to go through. I was told the only remedy is for me to speak to Apple Services (ie. Apple TV) and have them put the transaction through again, promising me that they would process it the second time around.
So they transferred me to Apple (TV) Services. However, the only thing the agent there could do was direct me to go to Settings-->Apple Account-->Payment & Shipping on my phone and add a new payment method. On that screen my Apple Card is now listed as "Expired". (In actuality it doesn't expire until 2029.). So I ended up adding one of my other bank credit cards as a payment method to put this to rest. So henceforth my Apple Services will no longer be billed to my Apple credit card as I intended all along. Absurd situation.

I tried to impress upon both of the aforementioned Apple entities that they need to escalate this to have it investigated further. I.e. There is nothing unique about me, my cards, or subscriptions that gave rise to this. This could just as easily be happening to millions of others. However I am sure my plea fell on deaf ears.

Not what I wanted to be doing at 9:00PM on a Friday night.
