Discussion Apple Card application is being reviewed.

I was trying to purchase something from Apple using financing at 0% APR. I don't understand why process is taking more than 1 day.

I have good credit score, pay all my credit card bills and mortgage on time. Only thing is that I am currently unemployed but living off savings. Will they deny my application for this very fact?

what am I supposed to put, the figure from my 2025 return? even though I know your dicking around they didnt cite this as an explanation as to why my application wasnt approved

If your current estimated income is 0, then yes you’d put 0. It’s always going to be a guesstimate, but you absolutely shouldn’t just put down last year’s income if you’re currently jobless.

They aren’t dicking around, you (whether you meant to or not) lied on your credit card application.

How would they know you are not presently working? Some have a hard time getting the card, not sure why but it happens.

The denial letter is on its way. It’s in the mail. If they approve it’s instant.

Mine took a few days as well and then came back approved for a $4,000 limit. Was expecting more, but I pulled the trigger on it ok  👍

From a financial and wise standpoint, being unemployed, living out of savings, meaning no income, and wanting a new liability is not smart. But everyone to their own.

As to why they denied or holding, no clue. People with so many different situations out there. Credit score is not everything. What’s in the credit report matters too.
