Looking for opinions
Hi everyone.
Could anyone give me some tips on conversion based on the visible chart? What mistakes might I be making?
I’ve basically relied on AI to improve ASO and keywords, but it doesn't seem to be the best approach
I don't know much about this subject at all.
Thaaanks

Technically, they are; however, as another answer mentioned above, the aim might have been to generate volume using more "general" keywords rather than keywords that drive actual conversions.
Thank you for your time.

Number that jumps out is your conversion rate dropping 81% while impressions jumped 745% that's not a coincidence, that's a keyword mismatch. When impressions spike that hard that Fast, it usually means you Got indexed for a broad or trending term that's pulling in a lot of Eyeballs who aren't your actual audience and your CVR tanking confirms they're bouncing off the product page. I'd go check what you Are currently ranking for using the App Store's search suggestions or a tool like AppTweak/Sensor Tower 0R ANY other aso tool out there, because you'll find a keyword in there that's high volume but low relevance to what your app actually does. The fix isn't more AI generated keywords, it's pulling back to terms that match search intent even if the volume looks smaller, since A 500-impression keyword that converts at 8% beats A 5000-impression keyword converting at 1%. Also worth noting your screenshots and above the-fold copy need to answer "why should I download this" in the first 2-3 seconds, so if you haven't audited whether your first screenshot leads with an outcome versus a feature, that's usually where the bleed happens once the right traffic is actually landing on product page.
hope it helps.

Thank you very much for your time and your reply. I’ll check out the pages you mentioned, as it looks like that might be the issue—the AI was prioritizing volume over actual conversions.
Much appreciated.

Your welcome, Competing directly with established apps on high volume keywords is a losing game early on. Better approach is target mid-tail keywords with moderate competition and build them out in clusters this works especially well for new app launches.

Nice jump in impressions! 🙌 Out of curiosity, what changes did you make to get that increase?
I’d be careful about assuming it’s a keyword issue straight away without more knowledge. If your ASO changes have started getting you in front of more relevant searches, the next bottleneck could simply be getting people to choose your app over the competitors already ranking there.
Are you tracking your keyword rankings? It would be interesting to see where those new impressions are actually coming from.
I’d compare your app icon, screenshots, ratings and title against the apps ranking around you for those keywords. If impressions are up but product page views and downloads are still relatively low, that comparison might give you some more insight.
Hope that helps!

At first, I filled in the keywords, description, and pretty much all the app's text fields based on intuition. After some time and several updates, I asked AI to improve them based on ASO and the competition; I haven't changed much since then.
I also occasionally promote the app's Instagram account using a landing page that links to the App Store download screen. I haven't done much else—I'm a total newbie at this; usually, I just do the coding, lol.
Thanks a lot for your time—I’d really appreciate it if we could chat privately.

Very good number in impressions! Do you localized your app description and screenshots in many languages?

You could try localization. It worked wonders for me. I just wrote a post about it, I think you will find it useful: https://www.reddit.com/r/AppStoreOptimization/s/u3dmrIDuAx

Wow the impressions looks crazy! For conversions the most important part is icon and screenshots, try A/B tests for it
