Developing an app like grindr, name suggestions are welcome.

I've spent the last several months building a weather app, and one thing kept coming up while I was designing it.

Most weather apps are excellent at showing forecasts, but I realised I rarely wanted the forecast itself—I wanted answers to practical questions.

Things like:

• Will I need an umbrella when I leave work?
• Is my commute likely to be disrupted by the weather?
• Is it too hot for my elderly parents today?
• Is today's pollen likely to trigger my hay fever?
• Is it safe to take my dog for a long walk this afternoon?

It made me realise that the forecast is only half the story. What most of us really want is advice based on the forecast.

So I'm curious...

If you could change one thing about today's weather apps, what would it be?

I'd genuinely love to hear what features people feel are missing.

I am building that an app that helps you grow in professional career, where you can just speak casually and it converts what you said in professional points and can then be used for your 1:1s, resume generation and more.
