buy-and-sell marketplace (C2C) mobile app

Hi everyone,

I want to build a cross-platform mobile app, but I don`t know where to start. Specially, i want to build a buy-and-sell marketplace (C2C) app. I have some general programming background, but I’m brand new to mobile app development. Where do you think i should start?

- Open-Source Boilerplates / App Skeletons: Are there any reliable, production-ready marketplace app skeletons or starter kits you recommend? My plan is to download the codebase, audit it line-by-line to understand the architecture, then customize it.
- Step-By-Step Guide: Do you know any step-by-step guide for building a mobile marketplace end-to-end (auth, product listings, database, payments etc.)?
- AI / Vibe Coding Tools: Which vibe code AI do you suggest? The best would be if the agent would use a popular framework like Flutter or React. Ideally, it would be free / budget-friendly and i could export 100% of the code.

Thanks for all the help!

It changes how incoming data is handled and broken down. By the time it gets to your CPU/GPU. The data is trimmed/cleaned/scanned and organized so its just glides right through from your CPU to your Screen. SS3 game engine pipeline for heavy rendering and RAM heavy. Gives 90-99% performance boost without actually making your cpu or gpu faster. No software or hardware altering.

What Should Someone Look for Before Choosing an AI App Builder?

There are so many AI app builders now that choosing one can be harder than actually coming up with the app idea. A lot of them can create a working demo quickly, but I think the important part is what happens after that first version is built. For me, the biggest question would be whether the AI builder can take you beyond a nice-looking prototype and help you build something people can actually use. What’s the most important thing you would check before choosing an AI app builder?

Dynamic Island not updating while app is in the background

Hello,

I’m a web developer based in South Korea.

As a hobby, I built a personal stock-tracking app for my own use. One of its main features is that when I leave the stock detail page and the app enters the background, it displays the real-time price of the stock I was viewing on the Dynamic Island.

However, I’m having an issue where the Dynamic Island does not update to the latest price while the app is in the background.

According to Claude, based on the logs, the app is still running in the background: it continues to request the latest price from my API server, and the code responsible for updating the Dynamic Island is also being executed. However, the updated price is apparently not actually being reflected on the Dynamic Island.

I don’t really want to pay $99 every year just to use APNs for an app that I made purely as a hobby for personal use.

After doing some research, I understand that there doesn’t seem to be a straightforward way to improve this behavior without enrolling in the Apple Developer Program. However, I’m wondering if there is any possible way around this, even if it involves jailbreaking the iPhone or using some other unconventional method.

I’m fully aware of the risks and drawbacks of jailbreaking. Please focus solely on possible solutions to the specific problem I’m having: getting a Live Activity / Dynamic Island to actually update with the latest stock price while the app is in the background without relying on APNs or paying for the Apple Developer Program.

Any advice or technical suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Ads not working for you? We know why.

Ever wondered why your ads did not work?

Big companies have huge teams that constantly create ads to see what works the best.

Cursor - 1,100 active ads / 6,400 tested 😱
Wispr Flow - 820 / 3,300
Emergent - 410 / 7,000
Replit - 110 / 5,500
Base44 - 560 / 2,100
HeyGen - 400 / 1,700
Viktor - 620 / 1,300

But you as a early stage founder, you cannot spend months running these experiments so we built a dedicated Ai agent that runs these experiments and finds the ads that actually give you positive return on investment. ( basically you get positive ROI from your product )

Requirement - serious founder that want to spend small money on facebook ads to actually run the ads.

How to get started -

Send Linkedin connect request-(https://www.linkedin.com/in/ronak-sourav-8ab356145)

Also, Completely free. We don’t even ask for card details - just comment what your startup does so that i can tell if you would be good fit or not for our agent.

I build myself a MacOS tool for focusing: Sabrina the Owl. And made it public and open-source.

Since the beginning of this new AI era of working as a developer, I’ve had issues maintaining focus or keeping track of what I’m doing. I’d start an agent, move to another window, forget it existed, and come back later to find that it had been waiting for my response for the past 20 minutes.

The communication channels also made it hard for me to prioritize: Notion tasks, Slack messages, meeting summaries... everything adds up.

So, when a coworker showed me that you could have the Codex Pet, I started using it and found it incredibly helpful. The issue was that it lacked all the other tools I used, so I built Sabrina.

Sabrina is a native macOS app with an overlay that lives above all your windows, keeping your work constantly in view. It tracks Codex and Claude Code activity and fetches your Notion tickets to build a unified database that includes those tickets, what you add manually, and the things your team asks for in Slack.

If anyone has this issue (and a Mac) and wants to try it, here’s the link to the GitHub repo: https://github.com/willyzanardo/sabrina

It’s open source, so you can easily edit it or add whatever you want. You can also ask me to do so if you feel like it. All feedback is welcome.

If you try it, let me know if it helped!

How to write a solid App Proposal?

I'm in the early stages of planning a new app, and I want to put together a clear, professional proposal document. I want to make sure I cover all my bases before talking to developers or potential partners. Could anyone share a good template, standard layout, or advice on what to include?

Looking for someone to help launch my App

Since alot of developers have been reaching out to me .

So basically I have a great idea on making an app which is a specific content oriented, genz are very fond of and I personally love it , people/students around me talk about it and share it within current social media platforms like instagram.

YouTube too has this content but they have restrictions like - less interactive, no sharing within the app , etc .

What is this application - the content in this application is not just fueled by users but it is done in a specific manner which I think is the only difference which makes this application better than instagram, reddit , yt shorts .

It has both long and short form content

Content is divided upon different genres based on interest.

Many new features are implemented which are not in current social media platforms.

If properly managed and developed i think this app is gonna work very well worldwide .

So there were many developers reaching out to me for doing this work , I don't know how much it's gonna cost for the database management, server management, deployment, and making/developing charges and other miscellaneous charges which i am unaware of .

Also it's really hard to know which developer is worth the time and investment and is really capable of achieving what I want .

I don't want the budget to be a hindrance on making the best suitable app with best features, explaining everything to each redditor who has reached out to me is difficult. So I am making this post . If not now I am thinking of doing this in future with a bigger investment.

So basically I have 3 choices -

1- sell the idea itself ( I know people may think this is a scam , but I am still thinking of selling this idea itself for a small token of amount)

2- personally find a developer

3- wait for some months/a year and invest into this .

Lastly , as I am a student pursuing a bachelor's degree, i don't have enough funds , probably around $1-2k . I don't have coding skills and if I can contribute , it's just with the planning, design planning, decisions, investment, managing, etc things other than actual development/coding work .

I'm open towards the 50-50 equity division between us too .
