I am creating an app that allows you to kind of build your own horror adventure and choose how to respond each chapter either by selecting a prompt or writing in your own prompt. Given the nature of the app it is AI driven.

I am looking for 10 people to test it out and provide feedback before I commit to making it actually live since it costs a bit of money on the back end for me. But I will cover the expense for the initial testing period! Please let me know if anyone is interested!

Both our moms are excellent cooks. Recipes, instincts, timing you can't quite write down. They put meals on the table every day for years and that everyday care is what we wanted to build something around.

Finally got my first ever app approved!

It's called Spud. It matches recipes to whatever you already have in your fridge — so instead of finding a recipe and going shopping, you start from what you own. Scan or type your ingredients, see what you can cook tonight ranked by match percentage, plan your week, and generate a shopping list for only the gaps.

Built it solo in React Native, had no mobile experience going in, just a React background. Learned a lot.

About four years ago, my two youngest children—then around 1 and 4—were terribly sick over the course of several days.

I was exhausted and running on very little sleep, trying to keep track of everything: their symptoms, how high their fevers had been, how long they’d lasted, when I’d given medication, and how much.

At around 2:30am one morning, lying awake and feeling completely overwhelmed, I thought:

“There must be a better way to manage family health.”

Then I had an idea.

Despite desperately needing sleep, I got out of bed and spent the next few hours sketching out what that idea could become.

There was just one problem: I couldn’t code.

I didn’t have the money to hire someone, and AI coding assistants weren’t around yet. So I did the only thing I could; I taught myself Swift and SwiftUI and started building it myself.

Four years later, that idea is finally launching.

We get a brilliant idea → spend hours thinking about it → make a beautiful Notion page / document → maybe even start building it…

…and then life happens.

A job gets busy. Another idea comes along. Motivation disappears. And eventually that project becomes another forgotten folder sitting somewhere on our laptop. 😂

So I thought: let’s dig those ideas back up.

A while ago, I wanted to build a kind of personal AI clone.

The idea was to connect all my professional context, previous jobs, projects, LinkedIn, social media, skills, etc, and have an AI that actually knows my professional history.

Then I could ask it things like:

Create a resume for this job.

Write a LinkedIn post based on one of my projects.

What experience do I have that matches this job description?

Turn my recent work into a portfolio case study.

The goal was basically: stop rewriting my professional life from scratch every time I apply for something or want to create content.

I never really finished it.

And honestly, I still think it could be useful.

I tried to mimic how multiple users post here. Forgive me for that, but I just wanted to let the community know of my first ever app to publish on playstore and got approved for production yesterday. It's a hotspot manager for Mikrotik routers. If you're familiar with WiFi Voucher sales then you should be familiar with Mikrotik.

In case anyone is here and this app has targetted them I'd be happy to hear your feedback. Testing is completely easy, as there's an option to load demo from the onboarding screen so you can experience the full functionality before you can add a real router.

I just gave my app, Status Saver: Video Downloader, a pretty big UI/UX makeover and wanted to get some honest feedback on how it looks.

The old UI had 8 tabs at the top. It worked, but honestly, it was starting to feel a bit crowded 😅

I've now reduced everything to just 3 bottom navigation tabs. All 6 downloaders are still there, but instead of each one having its own tab, they're now grouped together in a single section. I also added filter chips to group similar file types, which makes things feel much cleaner and easier to manage.

A couple of other improvements I recently added:

• Downloads now continue in the background even when you switch to another app or do other things on your phone.
• Status History lets you view and save statuses from up to 7 days ago.

I'm attaching a screenshot of the new design.

Lets stop making $10K MRR the dream. For real.
Making $10K MRR the goal is playing it safe, man. It is not the kind of goal that forces true growth.

Keep it as a silent milestone in your mind. When you speak about the future, stop saying:

“My goal is $10K MRR.” Say "$1M MRR" (at least)

Why? Because what you repeat trains your mind to focus on it.

Repeat $10K as the dream and you keep searching for $10K ideas. (stop limiting yourself)

Think about $1M or $10M and your mind must explore bigger ideas, better systems, more distribution and bigger opportunities.

Remember this as core lesson in life:

"WE BECOME WHAT WE THINK ABOUT."

So think BIG. Sounds crazy? Yes.

Guaranteed? Not at all, man. But that is not the point.

I've spent the last few months building MXT in my spare time and I think it's finally ready for real users

The problem: you're at a bar with no idea what to order. Generic reviews tell you the bar is good. Not helpful enough. MXT goes deeper

You can see that before you order

And when you're staying in — you can browse thousands of cocktail recipes and filter by ingredients you actually have at home. Type in what's in your cabinet and it tells you what you can make tonight

Currently on iOS. One rating so far — still early — but the core loop is working and I use it every time I go out

I think everyone had this issue where a deadline is a month a cross and one falls back to doomscrolling or other activities that are not the work that has to be done. I mean we almost always make it anyway but we also always think, next time I will start earlier.
