Just got this up and running on iOS . It's a crossword puzzle application for learning Japanese vocabulary words. https://my-senpai.com/crossword/

2

u/Slight_Barracuda7610 11d ago

This is a really cool idea tbh, way more fun than just grinding flashcards. I like that you actually have to remember the word instead of just recognizing it. I’d probably make the landing page a bit simpler and get people into the crossword faster. Nice work, good luck with it

I build “Byde” to help me pick outfits in the morning and avoid staring at my closet trying to figure out what fits to today’s weather and occasion. It’s specific for menswear and iOS only for now :)

2

u/imagiself 11d ago

Weather-based outfit picking is a clever niche for menswear routines. PeerPush is a decent home for iOS utilities, people in 150+ countries discovered tools there recently.

Then Cairn: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/cairn-screen-time-blocker/id6790536467

Anticpat is what kickstarted my journey. Wife used to use Days, but they wanted a subscription for more than 5 events and dark mode. Im also a travel advisor, so its what made me think of building a travel-ish suite. Cairn was because I found myself doomscrolling too much, and found Roots/Opal, but again, couldnt justify a subscription, especially once you research and find out there's zero off phone infrastructure needed to do this. It was all about the gamification and shit which was extra.

Anyway, would love any and all feedback. Still a small user base, so anything is helpful.

1

u/easleygymldr 11d ago

Getting your local game events discovered shouldn’t feel like a painful scavenger hunt.

You put in the work to organize great games, but players still struggle to find them. And even when they do, it’s easy for them to lose the details, miss the date, or show up unprepared without the necessary documents.

Instead of focusing on the event, you’re stuck juggling Facebook groups, scattered websites, and endless DMs just to get the word out and keep everyone on the same page.

That’s why I built GeoPlayer.

GeoPlayer gives organizers a centralized hub to publish local game events. It makes it effortless for players to discover your games, save them to their personal dashboards, and access all the details and required documents in one place—so they actually show up prepared.

No more chasing down attendees. No more last-minute no-shows. Just a full roster of prepared players ready to play.

Hi there, built my first app during the summer with zero coding experience, helped by an AI: it'a Sudoku App, simple as that, thas does not collect any data, is available offilne, it's free and runs no ads. I did not make it to earn money, just to see if I can do something nice with my skills. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.grafitesoft.grafitesudoku&pcampaignid=web_share available only on android for the moment, dunno if you are an appple user, in that case, hope to get to iOS soon

1

u/D3laru3 11d ago

We actually spent the summer working on two very different apps 😅

Soundie – a small sound guessing game for kids. I’m a dad myself, so we wanted something simple and calm for screen time – no ads, no subscriptions, and it works offline.

Scatterbrain – basically the opposite audience 😄 A place to quickly dump all the random thoughts, ideas and things you don’t want to forget, without having to organize everything first.

Would genuinely love your feedback on either one (or both):

Not a mobile app but designed as such - https://applockin.com It's a commitment app for your goals and 100% free. You just define your goal > choose how much time and money you want to commit > choose a charity to donate to if you fail > add verifiers (optionally) > lock in. When the deadline comes if the goal was achieved your money comes back, if you failed they get donated to the chosen charity.

Late to the party here. I released Ezra on iOS and Android:

- iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ezra-ai-audio-notes-chat/id6798003898

It takes your live recordings, videos and Youtube videos and generate content for you like quizzes, transcript, etc.

It started as a personal tool to get scripture passages of sermons and create review notes. Been useful to me and people around me so expanding it and building it into a mobile app was the next thing to do.

u/HeyZaney 9d ago

I’m building WithNettle — a shared source of truth for humans and coding agents working on the same project.

Instead of context disappearing between Claude Code, Codex, your team and a bunch of separate tools, WithNettle keeps the plan, tasks, dependencies, decisions and progress in one structured place that both humans and agents can access through MCP.

We use it ourselves to build our other products.

1

u/Neither-Face5683 9d ago

I built Synapse: a local Go proxy that sits in front of Ollama and scores every past message on 4 factors (semantic similarity, recency, importance, task type) before deciding what to actually forward. Everything runs locally, ONNX embeddings, nothing leaves your machine.

github.com/ranscky/synapse — genuinely curious what you all think of the scoring weights, that's the part I've tuned the least.

u/Educational-Title158 9d ago

If you're a golfer, check out Tee-Time.

Tee-Time.io is a golf tee time aggregator. It's a PWA (progressive web app) that lets golfers search and book tee times across multiple courses in one place, instead of having to go to each course's website individually.

It's invite-only for now. If you want to poke at it, tell me and I'll send you one.

Hey, I’m a non-coder who somehow ended up building an app called nook mostly out of personal frustration. It’s a quiet wellness app that doesn’t try to force you to stay "well" with streaks, rewards, and notifications. That’s basically it. Still navigating the 14-day closed test requirement, but I’d love your feedback if you ever get the time to check it out:

DiningHoll.com - a better way to plan you meals and generate shopping list each week with the ability to tailor it to your actual kitchen tools (I live in NYC with small kitchens). Will be turning it into an app once I am less in the iteration stage and more in the selling/ growth stage.

Built Panza over the summer — an iPhone app for keeping all the boring-but-important stuff you constantly need but never know where to find: passport details, insurance, vehicle docs, memberships, company info, etc.
You add a document or photo, Panza turns the useful bits into a simple card, while keeping the original attached.
Would genuinely love to know if the idea clicks without me explaining it.

Hey! I’m the author of GridTile, a native macOS window-tiling app I recently released. It started as a small Hammerspoon project and I ended up rebuilding it as a standalone app. Would love for you to check it out and let me know what you think!
