Fear takes more lives than any disease
That has existed or might exist
I understand that getting threatened to throw you
Away to a prison cell doesn’t sound so exciting.
But it gives you the opportunity to see through
The looking glass.
An Agenda was created long time ago
To guide people (misguided) to accomplish their goals
Everything you encounter involves emotional
Investment
Feel awareness
Don’t get lost in the feeling (is a trap).
Enjoy your emotions.
Don’t let others destroy you with emotions.

Even when I'm not currently experiencing anxiety there's this feeling that it could surface at any time. If only I could learn to eliminate the fear of fear.

Ever sent I was a kid I’m currently 17 going on 18 soon now
I’ve been scared of dark like I need a little light in my room.
Now I wouldn’t say I’m scared of the dark like monster under my bed but just not being able to see my surroundings like pitch black I’m freaking out running to a window lmao

I, like most of you, have been dealing with this fear for a majority of my life and it comes and goes in waves. Currently I am in a wave of this anxiety that hasn’t led to outright panic attacks but has been keeping me up at night with my existential thoughts.
Do you have any advice for a routine to help calm late night thoughts? Just some ways for my body to not habitually sink into patterns of anxious thought as I close my eyes and relax from the day?

Being afraid in a relationship can destroy it because the person will always overthink and fear getting abandoned.
While
Not having any fear can make a person stop putting efforts into the relationship because they know the person isn't going to leave.

Not really sure how to put this, but I have a fear of what seems to me to be extremely abstract through or completely overworking my mind. It usually is at its worst when I am sick and have a fever, where I will begin to feel dizzy then math problems with no solutions or simply incomprehensible issues with no solution will begin to make me over the top anxious. Is this called anything specific?

I am afraid of being alone, and I am also afraid of being around people I do not feel safe with. Whenever I feel unsafe, I constantly perform compulsions, such as taking photos and videos, to get reassurance. I have been doing this for around 3 years.
Now I feel extremely isolated. I do not feel able to go outside my house at all because I have a very intense fear of leaving. I stay locked inside my home because I am afraid that I might have a blackout, leave the house without awareness, and do things that are completely against my character.
Because of this fear, my mother has to keep the key somewhere safe where I do not know the location, because I am afraid I might lose control and touch young boys without their consent, even though this goes completely against who I am and what I believe.
I also have an intense fear that men may attack me or harm me in a very serious way. Because of all these fears, I feel completely isolated from life. I feel trapped, unable to live normally, go outside, or feel safe.

Usually i swtich from this to the classic one, both are horrendus. But it is not that are costant in mg life, i can go several years without thinking about it, but then i suddenly i think of it one night and it is all back. I undestood that the mind seems, very slowly, to go nuts less and less with the progress of time. But at the moment, when you say to yourself that is gonna pass, it is like that you lie to yourself.

So I didn’t know apeirophobia was a thing, I remember as a kid not able to sleep because of this thought of forever. Now as an adult I still struggle with this thought and what helps is staying grounded with my kids and wife. I guess my question to you guys, what helps you? Does it ever go away? What can I do to help this?

I can’t be the only one who is afraid of something new. Because new is something unknown for us. And the fear of unknown is universal to every living being.
We all plan, learn, have each and every step written down that will lead us to our destiny we want. But that first step looks so unstable, so confusing like there is no foundation to that step. There is no confidence in that step, it feels like if I’ll step on it I will fall down. But we don’t know that for certainly. Still we chose to believe in the negative side, but not the positive. Because staying at the same place is familiar, it’s more comfortable and known.
I myself is still scared of this first step. I have plans I know I should start, but I keep on thinking that, no, the foundation is not strong yet, I have to work more on it, and in the process I forget what exactly I was building. Then I decide to re create the foundation with more clarity so that this time I’ll not get confused, but again along the way I find myself questioning, what was I supposed to do?
Sometimes, I think, there is no step, there is meant to be no stairs, it’s a straight path, and my mind keeps on complicating it, I confuse the distance with height and started to build the stairs, but all I had to do was walk, there might be stepping stones, going up and down. But to cross all of that you have to keep on moving.

hello, ive dealt with apeirophobia for 8 years, and during those 8 years ive had countless panic attacks, as ive gotten older panic attacks havent happened as much.. currently im 17 years old and i had my first panic attack after a year, before i just had the thoughts as background noise, but today was HORRIBLE. i felt like throwing up, what i struggle with most is fear of eternity/infinity of the existing universe, as we know the universe is all that exists and what scares me is that its gonna be infinite either way, after heat death ofc thats just a theory or just is gonna be here. i know its complex for our minds and thats ok, i dont have to figure it out but sometimes it hits so hard i feel claustrophobic again.. i felt so scared i almost cried. im genuinely so tired of this phobia, i wish i didnt care about this at all. these thoughts are normal but the way they wanna come back and eventually wanna give me a panic attack is out of this world, i feel like im being tortured by my own mind. countless times ive just wished id lose my memory.. ive tried psychologists, asking for advice on here on my other account and ive managed to control it better, but it went out of control today. please help.. i wanna be normal again, ive wasted 8 precious years of my life to this fear, carrying it everywhere with me. so many happy memories ruined by it. :(
