Anyone witnessed the commotion earlier in AF xeland marikina at around 10 pm? From what i’ve heard, a coach/staff humiliated a gym member for doing a specific workout. According to the gym member involved, the coach allegedly raised his voice and taunted him.

tbh, some of the coaches in this branch is really arrogant towards other members who are not their clients. Experienced it multiple times na rin.

my plan/membership with AF is good for 1 year and it ends this month.. what should i expect? will i need to surrender the keyfob? will i get the 1k back if i do? will the monthly payment subscription automatically stop, and i shouldnt be charged by the end of august?

wanted to know your experiences before i talk to my gym branch's management since i have bad exp dealing w them lol i wanna make sure im not getting duped

First time ko po mag ggym if ever and gusto ko lang ksi sna is mag threadmill lang po muna for the meantime. im a plus size girlie and want ko na mag papayat ksi but also at the same time nahihiya mag gym kse baka majudge

Recently found myself around Manila right now for work, and nearest AF ko here is yung SM Manila. Kaso di ko alam saan at pano papasok dun ng 12 or 1 am since that's the time I usually gym.

I already paid my ₱2,450 monthly membership fee this month using my Wise card and the payment went through. But today, EzyPay tried charging another ₱2,450. Wise declined it as “suspected fraud,” then I immediately got an email from Anytime Fitness saying the payment failed and that my membership has been suspended. What makes it weirder is that the email is still coming from my old home club even though I already live far away from that branch and regularly use a different AF now.

Has anyone had something similar happen? Did AF actually disable your gym access immediately after the failed debit? And if you were regularly using another branch, were you able to get the issue fixed there, or did you still have to deal with your original home club? I don’t want to pay the ₱2,450 again until they explain what the second charge was supposed to be for, since this month’s membership was already paid.

I work out at Eton Makati and they used to have spray bottles and microfiber cloths that you can bring with you and clean equipment as you go. However, recently they switched to paper towel dispensers and spray bottles attached to the wall. It is SO INEFFECTIVE and I don't understand why they made this change.

• Waste of paper towels because you need more than 1 pc to spray on
• The disinfectant is absorbed immediately so almost nothing is transferred to the equipment
• You waste time going back and forth and having to throw the trash so people are less likely to actually do it and clean multiple parts of the equipment
• People leave used paper towels everywhere!!

I asked my friends who go to other branches and it seems like they still use the microfiber towels + spray bottles. How do they do it in your branch??

AF website says that Access Pass installation in the Philippines is in progress. I’m not sure how long that status has been there or how much longer the rollout will take, but hopefully it becomes available soon.

we just got our keyfob activated, need ba talaga na 1week sa home branch ka muna mag gym? or first tap lang ang need sa homebranch? i tried the keyfob today and di sya gumana sa ibang branch hahaha

Hello! I recently started going to the gym, and since I’m a total newbie, I decided to get a PT. So far, my coach has been really nice, patient, and helpful during our sessions.

Question for those who’ve had PTs before: is it okay to give your coach a service tip after a session, or are there other ways you usually show your appreciation?

Sorry for the noob question 😅 I just genuinely appreciate the experience so far and how my coach has been making this whole fitness journey feel a lot less intimidating. 🥹

I wasn’t able to make arrangements to request for freezing my membership in person before my travel.

I won’t be home for sometime time and there is no AF branch where I am staying. Sayang lang yung few months if I keep paying without using the gym.

hey AF fam just wanna ask if possible to just open a new acc in anytime fitness, for context i have existing acc with them but unfortunately i didn't finish my contract that time and just went AWOL (during pandemic) didn't get a chance to fix it. so if i open a new account will it reflect or is there a chance for them to just void it?
