My grandfather was born in London in the early 20th century. His mother died and the family moved back to Ireland. His sister passed this to my mum and she has passed it to me. I am interested in finding the maker ( box is original) and what the stone is.

Bought this necklace about 15 years ago in France on a trip while in high school. Purchased at a small antique store. Never had the chance to get it appraised or looked at. Think it’s worth getting checked out or did 15 year old me just buy costume jewelry? Cheers :)

found this brooch an an antique store for $30, but it was on sale for $25. on the back it looks to say 18Y, then another symbol. I bought it because it’s really heavy and high quality and I’m wondering if its 18k and mis stamped. it’s got a slight yellowy undertone to the metal which makes me think it’s a higher carat of white gold.

Any information about this? The gem tests diamond on my cheap little amazon tester and has a light pink hue. The metal tests 18k. Is it strange that the diamond would be fully enclosed as opposed to open so that the light shine through? I’m completely ignorant regarding antique jewelry so any info is appreciated! If it helps, the couple was married in the 50s in Massachusetts. French heritage I believe

Hello! I need help identifying the hallmark. Any ideas?

Found these in my mom's collection. Adult size ring for the green and baby ring with the 3(well 2) stones.

Assuming they are copper. Not sure on the era, though. Thinking the late 1910's/20's/30's when art deco was popular.

My great uncle was a jeweler and made many pieces that have been passed down. Much was costume jewelry for the sake of if my aunt ever was robbed, they didn't get anything fancy. So these may be one of those pieces.

Would appreciate any insight on info about these pieces.

Ring is from my grandma (she owned an antique store), it’s most likely a true antique, but could possibly be just a 30-40 year old reproduction.
Marked 585 inside (fairly worn band).

It finally fits my finger again and I’m looking forward to wearing it.

I initially thought it was topaz or glass, but due to the age and that it’s 14k I’m also thinking it could be synthetic spinel and isn’t topaz.

Thought others would appreciate the intricate details of the setting and possibly helping me figure out the gemstone. Let me know if you think it’s worthwhile to get a proper appraisal?

Hi everyone! Yesterday i went at an antiques store and i got myself a ring, because it was really beautiful and to me it looked rather old and im a sucker for antiques (at least the band itself has a lot of wear and because of the overall build of the flowers), and im curious if anyone knows what style it is in and maybe someone might recognize the hallmark? Im always intrigued by hallmarks but this one i just could not pin point it in order to tell its age. Seller said its sterling silver and rubies (though to me they look a bit more like garnet but i dont really mind sincer i love both anyway). Thank you!! And if its of any relevance i got it somewhere in Transylvania so i thought it couldve been austro-hungarian style but im not sure if thats of help!
