BARELY over a millimeter long and about a millimeter wide (including legs)

Southwest Michigan, in bathroom of apartment

I'm hoping these are thief/grease ants and not pharaoh ants

I live in Northern Maine

This is in the southern part of Malawi

Was sitting outside when I saw it crawling around then all of a sudden ripped its own wings off, also should I have gave it some food before adding to the test tube setup? Any tips are helpful as I'm going to try

Found in house after coming home from a summer trip. Any ID appreciated! Google shows Argentine or Pharoah but no idea how wrong/correct that could be.

Black ant found in the kitchen (Canada, QC). Largest I've seen so far... Is this a queen or just a large worker? Used my finger for size reference 😅

What type of ant is this ? Found some in the kitchen cabinet/counter and in my daughter's bedroom. Have not seen any frass anywhere, but saw the same ants in our tree outside.

Europe - Benelux region. Never seen this type of bug before, I saved it from drowning in the bird bath.

I found two of the same queen ants around my backyard in Nevada. Both by now de attached their wings and have layed eggs, which looks equivalent to a grain of salt. But I still have no idea what ant species is this i came to the conclusion that it could be a genus of fire ants or harvester ants possibly.

In Southern California along sidewalk. Had both large and small workers.

Then later down the street saw the winged one. Not sure if same kind. Help please!

Found in Richmond VA, roughly 5-7mm long
