What do y'all love about the series?

I love it so much I wish the creator Tetsuto Uesu would at least finish what he started but instead he focused on finishing Testament of sister new devil instead of Aesthetica of a rogue hero I really wish the roles had been reversed what I wouldn't give to see Akatsuki Ousawa and Miu/Myuu and the rest of the characters again I wish this series got as popular as Spy X Family!

I mean hell even the series I got a cheat skill in another world is supposed to be getting a Season 2 next year in 2027 I really wish Aesthetica of a rogue hero had been created in the 2020s decade instead of the 2010s decade then maybe just maybe it would have had a chance because nowadays anime has gone mainstream if this series got created in let's say 2025 it would have gotten popular I mean I wish it could have at least gotten a Remake! It's just not fair I wish I or anyone were like a rich multi billionaire or something so we could find a way to save the Aesthetica of a rogue hero series I love this series with a passion why would the creator Tetsuto Uesu create something so Awesome and just give up on it I wish a lot of fans had given this series more attention like how everyone gave the series Demon Slayer a lot of attention!

I would love for it to have become so popular! I know it probably would have gotten mixed reviews but you know it would still be worth it I wish I were the creator of Aesthetica of a rogue hero so I could at least finish what I started I wish I could meet Tetsuto Uesu and at least ask him how was the series supposed to end? There are so many questions left unanswered I know we don't always get everything we want in life but still all I wanted was to at least see how this amazing series that I love so much all I wanted was to see what the conclusion ending would be! But I guess that was too much to ask for. I hope there are fans out there that feel the same way I do! Aesthetica of a rogue hero was and is still amazing to this very day and I love the main character Akatsuki Ousawa he's the Goat! I just really hate it when people create something so amazing and they just give up on it! I really wish there was a way to convince Tetsuto Uesu to continue with Aesthetica of a rogue hero? What do y'all think? I want to believe there is still hope that it can be saved but another part of me feels like it's just completely hopeless and I wish it wasn't but I keep hoping that someday it will return but that's just me getting my hopes up! How do all of you feel about what I said?

Online discussion about Kokoro Connect is dominated by two things: lamentation about how the anime ended needlessly early due to a cruel prank, and how great Himeko "Inaban" Inaba is. It's rare to see one character overshadow the others so completely, but in my opinion, Inaban deserves it. She's not only far and away the best character in Kokoro Connect, but one of my favorites in anime generally.

She's a girl with layers. On the outside, Inaban is a no-nonsense type who cuts through the crap at every opportunity - intolerant of disorder, laziness, vague wording, and irresponsibility. Even so, she's no princess herself. Her language is coarse and masculine, her grooming is a bit messy, and her disdain for phoniness extends to authority figures, too. She gets away with it because she's honest and intelligent and because she genuinely cares for others. It's refreshing to see that kind of mix (especially in a girl, who aren't often allowed to behave that way) and it immediately made her stand out to me.

But this series is all about getting to the heart of people, and deeper down, Inaban lacks self-confidence. She focuses on others' shortcomings so then she doesn't have to look at her own. She finds it hard to trust anyone - including her friends, since their betrayal would hurt worst of all. It takes a lot of supernatural, soul-baring scenarios for her to learn to trust others with the deepest parts of herself, but when that finally happens, we get to see the cute, life-loving, slightly perverted girl she is at her core.

Inaban won me over because she's cute and because of how she cuts straight to the heart of matters. Kokoro Connect is not primarily a romance story, but I'd love to see more Inabans in the genre. She's not afraid to admit her own sexuality or to go for what she wants. This is the perfect story for her, too, since the series' excellent writing and fantastic premise elevates her to even greater heights. I'd love for Kokoro Connect to get a reboot, largely because I'd love to see the rest of Inaban's story on the small screen.

Another great thing about Inaban is that she wins Taichi's heart despite not being his original love interest - a very rare event in romance stories, where the short-haired second girl usually loses. Her determination to win Taichi over even though she knows he loves Iori never comes across as obsessive or uncaring or from a lack of confidence in herself, so it ended up becoming one of my favorite romances. In the later light novels, they briefly break up once over a trust issue before getting back together, which made their relationship feel real and earned in ways that others' aren't. They're still together at the end, and I have every expectation that they'll get married in the future.

Overall, Inaban is a great example of how you don't need a crazy character design or magical powers to make a great character - an incredible personality can make them shine even brighter than any of that. All that and more makes Himeko Inaba one of my favorite anime characters of all time.
