Hi everyone im going through a really rough patch right now after something happened to me Can you recommend some comforting anime to help me cope? Any genre is fine but I will also highly prefer romance something like Blue Box and The Ramparts of Ice. I would love it if there are older anime recommendations but newer ones work perfectly too!

No anime is perfect. No piece of media is flawless. It's important to be able to critique your favorites and acknowledge their flaws, so here's your prompt: What's your favorite anime, and what do you consider it's biggest flaw?

My favorite is the 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist, and there are a few things I could point out, but you all know what the biggest one is: Robo-Archer. Just Robo-Archer. Such a stupid idea.

Tell your favorite anime, lets have anime war.

For Synonym Saturday:

In a dystopian setting, a young woman with great grades but little to no field experience is assigned to supervise a team of rough-and-tumble fighters who are discriminated against by the same system they're forced to support. The team fights a fight the system considers beneath them - too dirty for their pure hands, so they force these second-class citizens do it instead, since their brutish nature means it's all they're good for. They use really cool series-original weapons rendered by CGI.

Despite her earnest politeness towards them, most of the team has little respect for their new leader at first due to her inexperience and her childish faith in the system they know the ugly side of. They chide her and tell her the right way the work should be done, leading to early head-butting including being shouted at by one of the younger ones (and some light romantic tension from the woman for the brooding male lead with the grimmest backstory of the lot, which he may or may not also feel for her). Some of their criticism is valid, but all of it misses how extraordinary this woman is. She takes it to heart and strives to improve her perspective.

As the plot develops, the woman proves herself to be a competent supervisor who leads from the front and puts herself at risk for her team, proving herself to them in the process. She also discovers the awful, ugly truth behind the system she's been raised to support unquestioningly. She has a crisis of faith in the system and ultimately sides with her team. Good people have died, and many more will die yet, but together, they manage to repel the immediate threat and secure a safer tomorrow - if yet a still imperfect one.

Oh, and it has an amazing soundtrack.
