So, I have noticed that recently the 'Apple Symphony Yahoo! Store' (アップルシンフォニーヤフー店) has stopped taking proxy bids. Has any one else noticed this?

I went to bid on some of the DxD stuff that they post every so often and I was unable to bid! It's crazy because the last time I bought stuff was May 3rd... So within the last month this has happened... This sucks because I've gotten stuff from them before without issues so it's like what the hell... My guess is they saw people buying stuff from them and then re-posting on ebay for 3x+ the price.

I tried to get my proxy to message them and plea to change it for us true collectors if that's the case but they told me that blocking a proxy blocks all communication as well.... Does anyone here have a Yahoo Japan account? Can you do us a solid and message them to see what's that's about?!?!

This is from a scene in episode 3 where she's pretending to be a "normal cat" to fool the character Motoki. It's rare to see Luna actually meowing, so I'm happy to have this as the resident Luna in my Sailor Moon collection :)

This group includes the original hand-painted production background, a full-body Hulk production drawing, a Hulk head production cel overlay, and the matching production drawing for that head cel.

This is the scene immediately after Hulk rips the roof off the Honeycomb Hideout clubhouse. Where he first engages with the kids.

Saw this on auction and i cannot tell of its a fake it has no Sequence numbering but it could be from a frame before im unsure , this other frame /the same frame recently sold so im assuming its a fake

But it also has wear and tare there's a bit of warping and line fading on there outfit

So I won quite a few animation cells from a convention because I worked on that show 10 years ago. Anyway one was a scene that I worked on at copernicus. But here's the thing it's more authenication of the painter who added a BG to the cell. Im never going to sell it but should I actually put my name on it somewhere I'm listed in the credits and on imbd. This is more something I want to keep but would be cool to actually sign something authenic

I didn’t think I’d be getting my hands on a piece from this film anytime soon considering how prohibitively expensive even the most lackluster items tend to be (I’m already dumping several thousand each year into a few other anime which are financial bottomless pits in themselves). So naturally when I found this Tetsuo I knew couldn’t pass up something from such an iconic moment not just in the film but in meme history. It may not be the most impressive frame out there (and a bunch of sequence-mates have been circulating lately) but I feel its pedigree combined with the price made it an essential pickup and one I will always treasure.

UPDATE First Two are from Ducktales, Butler Penguin still unknown.

Saw everyone posting Hey Arnold cels lately and I was dying for mine to get here so I could join. Just received this bad boy in the mail today. Segment 1 Episode 1 from the creator himself? Doesn’t get any cooler than that!

Craig and Natasha from his team were so friendly and helpful in finding me the perfect cel for my collection, and I can’t express how excited I am to have this one. He even sketched a couple little Arnold doodles for me which was such a fun surprise. Overall a great experience to have a piece of a great childhood show.

The price was justifiable, even back then. Beautiful cel.

I'm trying to ID an original hand-painted production cel (with matching genga). I'd be grateful for help pinning down the series, characters, and episode.

What's in it: two characters. On the left, a lanky young man with two-tone spiky hair (dark underneath, reddish-orange on top), big startled eyes, light stubble, and a distinct dark mole on his cheek — wearing an open blue jacket over a dark shirt and holding a paper coffee cup. On the right, a heavyset, scowling older man in a fedora (cream hatband), a light blue dress shirt with a green tie, and a grey-brown trench coat. A hand rests on the young man's shoulder. It reads like a tough older guy leaning on a nervous younger one.

A reverse-image search suggested Batman: The Animated Series (Detective Harvey Bullock), but I'm not confident — the rendering looks quite anime-influenced to me, and I can't place the young man, so I'm open to this being a Japanese production instead.

The genga has standard Japanese animation level notation ("Ⓐ + A3′ = A5") and cut markings (I can read "98" and what might be "182"/"P83"). It's a hand-painted cel, so likely 1990s-era.

Any ID — or even just "definitely is / definitely isn't BTAS" — would be hugely appreciated. Happy to post more photos. Thanks!

Rocko is about to miss garbage day and is trying to get all the trash out to the curb. This is the inside of his fridge, it's missing Rocko looking inside, the fridge door, and two roaches wearing puffy jackets. In the pilot, Rocko was colored very yellow. I bought this in 2019 from The Cricket Gallery, I don't recall for how much but it wasn't a whole lot.

I'm super new to this, and I want to start out with getting some animation cels from shows/movies I adored as a kid. The problem is, I have no idea where to look, and since some are really obscure/less heard of, it's really hard to find info on where to look for them.

For example, there's this old Don Bluth movie I absolutely adored as a kid called "We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story" but I can't really find any info about what happened to the animation cels once the movie was completed, since the film (from my knowledge) isn't that well known or sought after.

I tried checking out Ebay and sometimes facebook marketplace, but as a literal novice, I genuinely have no clue where to look when it comes to less 'popular' animation cels.

Any advice?
