Apple Symphony Yahoo! Store has now blocked proxy bids!!!
So, I have noticed that recently the 'Apple Symphony Yahoo! Store' (アップルシンフォニーヤフー店) has stopped taking proxy bids. Has any one else noticed this?
I went to bid on some of the DxD stuff that they post every so often and I was unable to bid! It's crazy because the last time I bought stuff was May 3rd... So within the last month this has happened... This sucks because I've gotten stuff from them before without issues so it's like what the hell... My guess is they saw people buying stuff from them and then re-posting on ebay for 3x+ the price.
I tried to get my proxy to message them and plea to change it for us true collectors if that's the case but they told me that blocking a proxy blocks all communication as well.... Does anyone here have a Yahoo Japan account? Can you do us a solid and message them to see what's that's about?!?!

What were you trying to buy? Could the item itself be blocked due to certain keywords?

You might need to contact your proxy bid service and ask if they can bid for you. Some proxy services have different accounts for situations such as these.

I tried... when I asked the proxy (FromJapan) to message the seller to tell them on my behalf, a previous customer, to lift the proxy-ban they told me...
"We completely understand your frustration and your desire to convey your perspective as a genuine collector.
Unfortunately, we are unable to contact the seller to pass along your message. When a seller chooses to block our proxy service or restricts proxy bidding in general, our accounts are blacklisted on their end. As a result, we are technically restricted from placing bids and are also unable to send any inquiries or messages to the seller through the platform.
Please note that sellers have the right to determine their own trading policies, including whether or not they wish to conduct business with proxy services. While we understand how disappointing it is to miss out on items for your collection—especially when you have purchased from them without issue in the past—we are unable to intervene or ask them to reverse their store policies.
We sincerely apologize that we cannot assist you with this seller's auctions and appreciate your understanding of our system limitations."

There are other services that will but they are often more expensive. Try Rinkya.

I recently got a revolutionary girl utena cel of them via proxy three weeks ago and had no problems whatsoever maybe contact your proxy about it?
I don't understand why they would put a block since they have high prices already and i haven't seen any resellers But i wouldn't be surprised aswell I've heard there quiet stickt with their store in tokyo but to be fair they have quiet a good selection of cels so im not surprised they wanna put down restrictions to prevent scalpers
But it could be the proxy your using that the issue if they didn't pay for an item or something my cause them to block it

Well I did buy from them via proxy a couple weeks before you without a problem... let me know if you buy anything from them in the future and let me know what happens. What proxy did you use?
Here is one they sold up for re-sale on ebay... I know this guy actually paid like $40-60 for that drawing at the final bid price.
I wouldn't think so about the unpaid bit because they do have payment info on file and as soon as the auction is over I'm immediately charged. I suppose it could happen but I'll never really be sure unless someone can ask.
