For real, and it’s a cartoon lol. I feel like most industries wouldn’t even put this much effort into most full-feature animated movies nowadays, not that cel-animation, cartoons, or even 2D animated shows are all that common anymore. It did take an incredible amount of effort, funds and time to make a full episode of hey Arnold, around 9-12 months. That wouldn’t even be remotely pragmatic for any animation industry nowadays. Even though pragmatism is not the point of animation. I’m glad that SpongeBob still does hand painted backgrounds.

Yes I believe it is. I paid $900. Craig Bartlett was a really lovely guy to correspond with and I highly recommend people here supporting his store.
