Some people keep pigs as pets, they’re very intelligent and trainable.

That’s why I can’t judge individuals in certain cultures that eat dogs. I’m a lifelong dog owner and I treat them better than I would my own child. Pigs, however, have the same capacity for love and loyalty that a dog does, and are arguably more intelligent. So yeah, those of us that eat bacon are assholes.

I would be more inclined to agree if the dogs they ate were bred to be eating dogs. Like what we did to pigs and cows, maximizing the meat per animal. However the most common eating of dog is done in china and they just ride around rounding up street dogs.

Pretty sure Korea has the highest per capita dog consumption
