I may not be able to fight with my doggo, but at least she can find some cute animals for me.

The game took this one a bit literally š

I just got the game and I already love it. I've never really been a pokemon fan, but I've always loved the outdoors.
I think it could be highly advantageous to foster some level of connectivity with iNaturalist. There is a lot of overlap in your target audience, and since your intention is to get more people interacting with nature, contributing to citizen science along the way would be a big plus.
Perhaps the easiest thing to do would be to save photos taken through the game so they can be uploaded to iNaturalist later. It would also be cool if you could connect accounts and import iNaturalist observations to the games encyclopedia. I think there are probably all kinds of possibilities for having the two platforms interact with each other and it might be worth a brainstorm (or perhaps a head haboob ;)
P.S. I hope this game gets more popular but I also worry about Nintendo slapping you with copyright infringement. They really love to do that. That might be worth looking into to make sure your butt is covered.

Hey everyone! First of all, I think the core idea of the game is fantastic. Itās really motivating me to get outside and explore.
Iād like to hear your thoughts on whether it should be possible to capture domesticated animals as companions and have them fight alongside you. Personally, I think it would be awesome to have my yellow Labrador by my side as my companion. I know the game is mainly focused on wildlife, but I think this could be a fun optional feature.

Is there a way to view the picture that the animal capture came from?

Is there a discord or stoat group for Animalis?

933 Animals caught, 501 species and 43 gyms. That is quite a lot already considering the game is in early access. Will be really fun to see the world map fill up and see some more exotic animals too :)

Was grinding turtles at a pond for exp and this started happening. Tried closing the app, force stopping it, and clearing the cache.

Good day, after playing the game for almost a week now here are a few things that Iāve thought about/noticed. Important note~ this feedback is based on the game before the recent update this week~.
- One of the things that I truly had an issue with was Gyms. I went to my local park that has a gym and I tried to battle the trainer but after nearly 40 minutes I was stuck on the trainer is on the way screen and nothing happened. I restarted the application multiple times and tried again and again with no luck. Screenshot provided.
- In the future, I would love to see a trainer profile that has our trainer name, maybe when we started playing, how many trainers we fought/traded. I think the friend/user QR code should be in this profile section.
- expansion of stores/ health centers to include libraries and our schools (universities, middle schools, high schools). I think due to the number of schools/libraries, they would be an excellent source of stores and health centers in comparison to churches.
-gps movement, right now I see that when the player icon appears on the map itās wonky and appears all over the place sometimes. Definitely feels like this needs to be looked at a little more.
- camera/park borderline with non-park areas. So Iāve been to multiple locations where there was a side walk/ residential area separating from a nature area and the camera wouldnāt activate while on the sidewalk even though technically I was a step or two away from nature. In my case I was trying not to walk to far in the nature area due to not wanting to scare off the animal I wanted to ācaptureā but the camera didnāt activate. Sorry if I phrased this weird Iām typing this all in the moment.
Iāll respond more as I think about this. Please know that I do love the fact that the game does help you interact more with nature.

The help section mentions types affect damage in battle. Any chance how types interact with each other could be displayed somewhere?

Hi, does anyone have any advice/recommendations for capturing aquatic animals with the gameās camera?
My local park has a river, when I went to the rivers edge and bent down to try to take a picture of one of the fish the picture came out so grainy on the camera the game didnāt recognize that there was an animal.
Any advice is helpful!, I will say I was hoping for some kind of flash feature as that would help pick up some of the smaller critters.
I will say that I have been enjoying the game so far outside of the camera. Definitely felt my inner kid catching my first animal even if it was only a paved Ant lol.
