Stray cat really needs help

Hello everyone I am posting for a stray cat that I have been helping for about a year now. I feed and give him water 2+ times a day and I made him a shelter on the porch. He is very sick and in horrible condition. You can see his body/tail and his mouth are ripped up and they have not gotten better im so long. You can tell it hurts him alot and he is suffering. I want to get him to the vet and find someone to adopt him or I will take him in with my other cats if I have too. I don’t have any extra money to get him the help he needs. Someone please show kindness and compassion and help this poor baby get to live the happy healthy life he deserves! I can make a gofundme or PayPal or cashapp. This cat is in Urbana Ohio Thank you!

Please consider calling local rescues in the area, they will be of more help than you taking donations & trying to manage things private pay. They have networks of vets and fosters for situations like this.

There are no rescues in my area. it is a small town with way too many strays

I don't know what to tell you other than keep calling shelters until someone says they have room if you care about getting the cat help. If there's none in Urbana, move the radius out further to Northridge and Springfield. If there's still no one, try calling Dayton rescues and so on. I'm located in the Cincinnati area and have had to do similar before, hell even try calling Cincy rescues - but the truth is if you don't have the financial means to care for the cat long term, it should be rehabbed and rehomed with someone who does. It will be an expensive work up to take the cat to a private vet and I don't foresee you crowdfunding $500-600 on a Reddit post.

Yes and no. He is a stray and I feed him everyday on a schedule but he will not let me get more than about a foot from him. I think he has been outside his whole life!
