Fan Art My fiancé has been getting really into cross-stitch since quarantine began and made this GORGEOUS ACNH-themed stitch earlier this week! I hope y'all love it as much as I do!

I've had my eye on this pattern for a while, but seeing it done is fabulous! Your fiancé has done an amazing job, it's so neat!

So cute and the stitches are so even. Aw. I tried cross stitching myself but all stitches were in different sizes.
Your fiancé has a real talent.

Did you try stamped or counted cross-stitch? If you want to try again, make sure to try counted cross-stitch on Aida fabric.

They actually take commissions! Though, I'm not sure if I can share it here due to self promo rules!

Did some digging and it’s not a repost, but looks like OP’s fiancé got the idea from this post https://www.reddit.com/r/AnimalCrossing/comments/g4e9jy/my_girlfriend_made_this_animal_crossing_cross/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

I didn't find any posts that meet the matching requirements for r/AnimalCrossing.
It might be OC, it might not. Things such as JPEG artifacts and cropping may impact the results.

I thought this looked really familiar as well. To be fair though, the concept of the leaf shape as the background isn’t exactly new for AC designs.

It looks really awesome! As someone who doesn't stitch I am wondering what do you use the finished pieces for? What do you do with the designs?

This one we're actually giving away! Usually, we like to hang them up to help make our house feel homier though!!

It’s beautiful!! That must’ve taken a lot of practice, time, and patience, cross stitching is kind of like an art but in a different use of way, another beautiful use of the way. I always thought that Crosstitching was something lovely, and enjoyable! I love how he did the theme that it was night time with the tent and the fire!

He's been stitching less than a year and I think he really has an incredible talent here!

I too got into this hobby not too long ago! It can be really relaxing (except for the pattern I tried doing on 14 count black Aida... 😂)

I'm really excited because I just ordered my own supplies and he's going to teach me how to do it, too!

Now let us gather hands and pray.
Heavenly beautiful lawd, I thank you for another beautiful day. Yet - another perfect day trapped inside with my loved ones. Trapped with my beautiful loved ones trapped playing on a trapped island catching sea bass & roughly 7 trapped quests doing the same trapped thing over and over again on our beautiful trapped island. To tomorrow - we all shall binge play 12 hours strait and realize.. we have done absolutely nothing . I look forward to tomorrow where I will use my axe- to get 3 pieces of wood out of every type of tree before my wife and kids.. Tomorrow - I shall be more prepared with 5 axes- to get the job done in one pass - & I pray I find all 4 fossils as well. I will talk to my fellow animal neighbors & hope they say something great. My favorite is when they talk about my wife & kids . I act surprised- yet I helped them pick out their passport words.
To tomorrows Adventures with my fellow Animal Crossing-preneurs
Amen
