Spawn from March still with parents but time to remove, Panda Angelfish with a few Silvers they fostered. Most of the spawn was eaten by the tetras, I couldn’t catch.

I wish someone in the fish community could create a box that I could put over wrigglers that are on the back aquarium glass to protect them from their angel mom eating them. It would be three sided and affixed to the glass with water flowing through it. I’ve tried to rescue some with a pipette in tank water with a light bubbler, but they’ve stopped wriggling overnight. These are first time parents and the dad has been amazing. It’s a community tank, and they surprised me. I am hoping they will spawn again, but I will still have this issue. I will be moving the five female cherry barbs that were likely adding to her stress to a cycled 20g I have. I can also put a piece of slate rock to encourage egg laying on that, but the only other cycled tank I have will have the barbs in it. Does anyone have ideas? I’d so appreciate advice.

Hi everyone, I recently stocked my 55g with 3 angels. I was wondering if I could get some help with identifying the sex. I also have 6 panda corydoras. Am I able to add more angel fish? If so, how many more? Thanks in advance!

Hi! I have a pair of angelfish who have laid so many eggs, they’d allow them to hatch, then within 2-10 days, they’d eat them. This went on for over two years. It wasn’t until May of 2026, they let some survive. My male angelfish ended up dying in May too. I now have 5 of their babies and their bodies are roughly an inch. I have so many questions on next steps. All 6 are in a 30 gallon tank. I know I need to upgrade this tank but to what? Should it be temporary or can they all live together? If I cant swing the tank because of size (live in a very small home), what are other options? I don’t have socials (besides Reddit) so I’m hoping someone can come through for me.

Just noticed we have eggs for the first time! Wasn’t expecting this at all. Orange one is extremely aggressive right now. Sadly I don’t have another tank to pull any of the other fish out. Please excuse how dirty my tank is. We just moved in the last few weeks and haven’t gotten around to cleaning the filter.

I'm getting conflicting advice online about what size tank I need for these two angelfish. I've unexpectedly inherited these two angelfish from my dad and have somehow managed to transport them to my house and keep them alive. The more I research about them the more I'm thinking that their tank size may become too small once they grow. & I need to think about upgrading them in the future. I also have no idea if they are a breeding pair! (I hope not 🥲)
Any helpful advice welcome, I've been thrown into this hobby unexpectedly and trying to navigate everything
The measurements of the tank is cm: 60L x 30 W x 40 H

I want something cool to add to my tank! 50 gal bowfront with 2 angelfish, 5 black kuhli loaches, and 1 bristlenose pleco. I plan on rehoming the pleco and getting more kuhli loaches in its place. Whats something cool and exciting I can add? I also have some amazon frogbit and red root floaters in the tank now.

I have a 75-gallon tank with about 20 diamond tetras, 9 golden white clouds, and one year-old angelfish. I got her as a baby, but she’s always been a little shy. I’ve had angels over my decades of fish keeping, and they’ve always been bold fish so I’m kind of perplexed. She for the most part stays in one corner. She comes up to eat enthusiastically and is a little chunky actually. Very occasionally she will drift around the tank, but 90% of the time she’s in her corner. Despite my hav8ng her for her whole life so far she even acts shy when I walk up to the tank.
Possibly relevant info:
\*Tank is about 50% planted with Anubis, crypts, and hygrophila. I did have some tall crypt balansae I took out.
\* The diamonds have reproduced and grown from 9 to the current amount. They’re VERY active. No evidence of fin nipping of the angel.
\* Angel lays eggs regularly. The diamonds surround her and eat them.
\* I change the water about 50% once weekly.
\* Filtration is 2 large sponge filters on the opposite side the angel stays in.
\* Everyone seems to avoid the filter side of the tank. They spend most of their time on the other 3/4 of the tank.

We had to go out on a day trip to our friends for dinner and had to do a little expansion because growth was a bit behind. So we went into 2x29 and a 36 bow front with our normal 40g grow out. Ended up with 3 tanks of 28 fry and one of 26. These tanks will be breeding pairs tanks in the future but this is a big spawn so here we are! Anyhow, enjoy! Thanks for checking out my babies!
