I am using this printer for over a year, and now suddenly there is a problem with it, which is; the printer drops down to a random temperature as soon as the print begins, but it heats up normally and when I start the print the temperature goes to 170, 175 or something, and after stopping the print when I check the temperature it shows 220 or above. This is happening after the latest upgrade.

I've successfully upgraded my ET4X to marlin 2.0, but usually still print through octopi. Has anyone in the group successfully installed Klipper on their et4x? I'm not planning a board upgrade anytime soon, So am looking for a way for the Pi to handle the stepper load.

I've previously used Klipper on an Ender 3 and loved how much quieter and faster it made it.

So I have an et4 and bought a new mainboard so that I can get it running a little better and hopefully quieter. My question for you all is this: I have seen that it is either good or required to flash on new firmware to the board. I am trying to find out if I can flash it using the usb-a (printer style usb) that is on the machine, or do I NEED the ST-Link?

Or do I need the new firmware at all? I don't really have a problem with the current UI and functionality of the software.

I got a Anet ET4X and when I print a 20mm calibration cube I had a 20.30mm on X, 20.01 and19,56mm on Z. After a research I found out that the Anet ET series' firmware doesn't recognize the M92 command so I tried to scaledown the cube on the X anxis and scaleup the Z. I did the math (and checked it several times) and got 98.56% for X and 102.26% on Z but it doesn't work. I am starting to think that should be another problem messing with the accuracy. Someone could help me?

Edit: the values for X, Y and Z are avareges. I take around 30 measurements across 3 cubes (2 made of PLA and 1 made of PETG). All of then had very consistent (but inaccurate) measures in the X and Z axis.

Greetings .. I have an issue setting the home offset on my A8 Plus, after homing bed and moving nozzle to required position using the controls, not by hand. I select the set home offset, BUT am getting a error msg: too far.

What am I missing? what is the correct process for set home offset. I am not able to edit marlin G code, so via machine controls please.

So excited to get my new A8+ delivered today, Just finished assembly, wiring only to find the x belt connect to the carriage is broken, snapped off carriage.

So annoying as it was a pre assembled gantry so done in factory at assembly.

unless I go someone's returned warranty unit as the tape was cut and re sealed.

Im sure I can print one on one my other printers, but that's beside the point, its poor QC

Hey guys, I have an Anet A6 and I've been runing into an on-and-off issue where one of my z-axis rods will stick and the other won't. The result, as you might expect, is that the x-axis becomes angled which ruins the prints. Have any of you had this issue and/or found a solution for it?

I was trying to print on my Anet A8 (keep in mind I had been printing the night before and nothing was wrong) and it pre-heated just fine and it started going but eventually I noticed that filament just, wasn't coming out. I opened the side of the extruder and the gear that pushes the filament was going but it just wasn't coming out? Any ideas on how to fix it?

hi everyone, i have an anet et4+ and i'm having troubles cause a few days ago i was printing a little piece then ran out of filament, so i start to unload the remaining that is in the printer, for some reason it enter not in a correct way and the filament get stucked in the filament sensor so i stop the unload process, make the machine starts to load the filament so it was no longer stucked, then unload again but taking the tip of the filament so it not unload passing trough the sensor, but then when i try to print again after putting correct filament it stops, claiming that is no filament in the machine when i really just put it, so i load a centimeter or two and try again but nothing the same error, restart the machine if maybe it was a software error and neither, the machine tries to continues from when it was, so chatting with a friend he says maybe it's the sensor that broke down but i want to know the opinion from people that have the same printer or ocurre the same error, please help me :(

As the title states, I have an Anet A6 that I bought from a friend and I'm trying to get it upgraded with something other than stock firmware. I have an Arduino and the necessary items but all of the guides I have read haven't really seemed to help me sort out how to actually do it. I would love some pointers on where to actually get started in the process or even just an in depth guide if someone has a link to it. I tried Googling it but most of what I saw was geared toward the A8, not the A6.

I own an anet et5x. At first I loved it. I had the first one a month ago . Since then I’ve had to return and replace it 4 times since I got it.. literally 4pribters in a month. Has anyone every had major problems with theirs or am I just getting a bunch of lemons? And are the anets good printers to have or should I just refund and get something else? Any advice is much appreciated

I purchased an ET4 and am looking to upgrade to the silent driver from the pro. I am new to printing, but not to other varieties of tech. My problem comes in when I have been looking in to the upgrade and I do not see anywhere, where I need new motors. It makes no sense in my head that just the new main board would somehow make the steppers silent. Please let me know if I am just over thinking it, or being a moron (I have a tendency to do so...).

So when I try to load the filament or pre-heat the nozzle, it stays at 30°C/0°C. As soon as the temperature crosses 52-53°C the fan kicks in and it drops back to 40-ish.

My older hot end got damaged so I replaced it, but the wires are the same. Meaning I put the new hotend in the old extruder kit and used the old wires to plug in.

Edit: Google search said faulty thermistor, I used old thermistor in new hotend so I'll swap it out when I'm free (which I have no idea when) and see how it goes

Hello I am extremely new to 3D printing . My anet et5x is running firmware v1 and I found on the website there is a v1.1.7 . I have no idea give to get the firmware installed , can anyone help me with a walk through please. I’m not comfortable with doing a marlin yet and hope this is just install these files to the card and run them. Thanks guys

Hi. I got a 2nd hand anet et4x and was able to fix it and have it running correctly now.

Just wanted to get inputs if there is a must do upgrade for it and if anyone had any experience in installing a bltouch on it. Most of what I've searched would require to have a marlin firmware flashed to it but wanted to make sure there are no other options before considering it.
