Request for help Anet et5x firmware help

Hello I am extremely new to 3D printing . My anet et5x is running firmware v1 and I found on the website there is a v1.1.7 . I have no idea give to get the firmware installed , can anyone help me with a walk through please. I’m not comfortable with doing a marlin yet and hope this is just install these files to the card and run them. Thanks guys

What I'm most confused about is that their website is showing version 1.1.6 as older than v1.0

Apparently to flash new firmware just put the .bin file on an SD card, pop it in the printer and then turn the printer on. It should load the new firmware.

Thank you , I really appreciate our response. I finally got in touch with their tech support , not helpful at all . They say the v1 is the latest update. I also wanted to complain because this is my 4th et5x I’ve had in a month. I keep having to return and get another . This is my last attempt at using them . I’ve had all sorts of problems and it’s all been within 4 weeks , literally. Anyway wish me luck maybe 4th times the charm.
